1. works fine with a daisy chain, the pitch shifter sounds great, i preferred it to the whammy IV. the harmoniser and the delays are realllllllllllly nice, so many awesome delays. particle verb sounds crazy too
2. i have a pair of wizard hammers in one of my basses and they sound massive, lots of growly mids, try one of those in the bridge.
3. [sub]hmm, didnt notice that it seems to have a lot less FX available on it (compared to the b3) especially some of the crazy ones im after[/sub] [sub]some of the FX seem to have different names to the B3 counterparts (bass related names) are they any different?[/sub]
4. i really want this thing!! whens it out?
5. Ev5 didn't work well with mine at all, with the pitch shift it wouldn't travel the whole way, and would hit different values with every sweep
6. Mission engineering ones are bombproof

Wizard 64s!

go for the wizard hammers! i have a pair in my shuker and they're the best pickups i've ever used, massive growly mids.
8. Tried a rat tail with two dist settings? Set one low and one high
9. i've seen a few basses come with this from the factory (ampeg and ibanez come to mind) like on the following picture does anyone know of an aftermarket way of doing this myself? or know of anyone who could do it for me? i've seen the letraset lettering transfers, but would they last? i can imagine them rubbing off or coming off with my sweat. i've seen some of the old ampeg scroll basses that seem to have the name pressed into the pickguard. i want to add the finishing touches to my two main basses and i reckon this could be the way to go.
10. barefaced barefaced barefaced! you wont be dissapointed, i have a super15 and it has plenty of top end for me
11. has anyone got hold of the graphic bass EQ yet?
12.
I thought you bumped, edited and added more items but AFTER the fees were introduced. But like I say, the mods know the details and I think you know very well
Ahh right, well fair enough, although the guidelines don't explicitly state that the above isn't allowed, clarity is all that's needed. But now it seems I've been banned from seeing the marketplace anyway?

New Zoom B3

So how easy is it to swap between patches whilst playing?

Octave pedals!!!

I've really wanted to have a go with the big Jon octave! Sounds crazy
15. I have no problem with fee paying, I just find it unfair that bumping my old thread from before the fees (which doesn't seem to be against the rules) led to it being deleted, whilst other members can do it without penalty
16. Well it looks like you have several more ads to delete since "they apply to everyone equally"
17. I got my new thread deleted because I didn't read up on the new stuff so then I went to make another but just decided to stop being lazy and bumped my old thread... Which was then deleted even though it hadn't broken any forum rules
18. So I had an ad that was placed BEFORE the charges came in removed, yet other people still have theirs up? Favouritism from the mods? Seems f***ing shady to me

Fishman Fission

does it not sound too harsh on the extreme top end without some sort of speaker sim?

Fishman Fission

ive been contemplating one of these (or something similar) to use live for all our EXTRA HEAVY bits, i'd probably just have it sent into a dedicated fuzz with some EQ and then into some sort of modelling DI and have a bit in the monitors
21. yeah it's 500 euros new NOW, no way was it that price from japan in the past, i got one second hand for 100 quid from japan years ago, and the new price was higher than that but nowhere near the price of the current ones
22. i programmed this setting onto my line6 m5 and it sounds awesome (need an expression pedal)

noise gates
You Using an ns-2 now then ant? I'm looking the mxr smart gate at the minute.
yeah! as soon as i got back from that tour i got myself an NS-2 and i've never looked back edit: it means i can finally get some staccato stuff back into my high gain playing, sometimes i might rub a string and it opens the gate and it just feeds back loads without closing it, but ill just quickly turn the dist off and on again and its back to pure silence

noise gates

i had tons of feedback from my distortion pedals that i couldnt get rid of, i had an ISP decimator ages ago and i dont remember it getting rid of all of it, just lowering it, tried another one but its stopped working now. went on tour with a mates band and tried their boss NS2, totally killed all feedback from their basses when they had it at the end of their chain, tried it with my stuff and it was still there...just quieter then tried my gain pedals in the loop of the NS2 and SILENCE, i love it
25. boss ls2 is great, one reason i prefer it to a standard true bypass looper is that you can cut or boost the signal in each loop
