1. Do you mean you'd like to trade it for something worth more & you'll add £200 to any potential deal?
2. Nice bass, light weight, well balanced and, although it's passive it still has a great punchy sound
3.
Molan's VW Yin-Yang Fodera edit - looking at Molan's sig...i'm SURE i saw it there
It was - but it's been sold in the last few weeks
4.
+1 - too much choice!
but mine is the cheapest, lol.
5.
I don't know how you ended up with it again, but good luck with sale. For anyone who my be interested, Barrie is a very nice guy who doesn't mind letting you take plenty of time to play and make a decision. And as a bonus cup of tea isn't too much trouble : - )
Thanks Mr Fuzzy Seems to be Sadowsky NYC month here at BC. I think there's 4 or more of them up for sale at the moment!
6. I think I'm gonna sell mine TB550A with the "switch" - absolutely immaculate, not a mark on it anywhere! Have been alternating with an Aggie 500 for a while & also trying out a simple little Tone Hammer which seems to partner nicely with a pair of SL's. Personally I think the TF & SL's aren't a great match but it works brilliantly with the DB's
7. Looks amazing and a very good price for one of these
8. I've got a pair of SL 112's on loan at the moment. Cannot believe how light they are! Haven't had much time to really listen to them at any sort of volume yet though.
9. Trade deal not happening now so back up for grabs
10. Wife is up for it - need to get step-daughter 'buy-in' now Could bring pretty much any bass in my sig - either a clutch of old Fenders or some of the more 'esoteric' stuff like Fodera / Alleva Coppolo / Celinder etc.
11. Steve is a lovely guy as well - met him a couple of times and been to see him play a solo gig once. I'll admit that I find listening to an entire album of solo bass a bit tough but great to go and watch him live Good teacher too.
12. Just trying to see if my step-daughter is free that day as she lives just 4 miles away so my wife & I could come up & & she could see her daughter & I could pop over for some bass chatting
13. I just love his playing with Chic - the moment when he comes back in on guitar after the breakdown in the 12" version of Good Times is one of my all time favourite 'moments' in music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVnEFalYDzA
14. Some nice shots of the Atelier in this vid (my favourite track from the last album) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3v7cXDwUgI

Sold

Great bass - great guy, great price, what more could you ask
16. I've bought and sold basses through them & become good friends with Phil the owner. The big advantage for me in selling basses via BassGear is that Phil has quite a few overseas customers & he handles all the international payment & shipping stuff. I think some of my basses have gone to France, Austria, Scandinavia etc. They moved location a few months back & now just 20 minutes from my house which is brilliant - I can't keep away from the place, lol. The new location is right next to Twyford mainline station too if you want to get there by train
17. I had a lovely Sei J5 for a while - sounded, and played, very differently from a Flamboyant or an Original but a lovely bass nonetheless. Martin is just a great craftsman all round
18. Anything can happen in the next half hour. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E06cNv55jTs
19. Slightly off topic but - you have an AJ Presentation & a Monarch, how cool. I've never seen an AJ in the flesh HAve you posted pics of these anywhere here?
20. Another great bass from the house of Dirk
21. Interesting. I have a basic 'bug' type wireless I bought for rehearsals & soundchecks but it would be nice to have something really reliable. I'm in at BassGear later this week so will have a chat with Phil about them http://www.bassgear.co.uk/products-page/accessories/stageclix-wireless/stageclix-jack-system/
22. Realised I don't have many pics of my old '86 Monarch but's here's a couple of samples: Technically not a 'signature' as it was made before Fodera started classifying them as VW sigs
23. Not sure if this helps but I discovered yesterday that my message notifications had been re-classified as spam by GMail. I marked a couple 'not spam' and it's been fine since then
24.
interested in trading for music man sting ray 78 . full original . hard cakes. black . maple neck . chears , cera
Gotta be interested in some "hard cakes" as part of a deal I'll send you a message
