1. How about my G & L , spare strings and my Fender Cabronita P with a small chip on the back Gary lol
2. My BD121 arrived. Awesome for £20. My Ashdown Five 15 practice amp has come alive Haven't tried the suggested settings yet but I used these and it sounded great for a bit of UB40 Red Red Wine: Drive 2 O Clock Treble 11 O Clock Bass full Level 12 O Clock Presence 12 O Clock Blend 3 O Clock GND Lift on ( not sure about that but if it cancels hum great )
3. Having played for a couple of weeks at BIMM Summer School Bristol through an ampeg 2 pro and 8x10 cab, I've got serious GAS, but no money, for a valve amp. Thinking I might get the V4B at some stage and play it through my deep 115 and 4x10 Ashdown 8 ohm cabs. ... Or sell my Mag 300 and cabs and get an ampeg cab. I haven't done any gigging yet so it's just for doing UTUBE videos of songs I've learned. Got about 80 plus videos up now in the last couple of years playing :-)
4. Cool. I'll try the same when it arrives in a few days :-)
5. I'd love to play that but a set list would take me a month of Sundays to learn unfortunately and I can't transcribe so unless I could find the bass score I'd be stuffed :-(
6. Did he say to practice your sh*t or that my practice is sh*t? :-D

8.
Yeh no problem. If i can get a babysitter Although i could just buy some really small ear muffs for him......
Thing to do Kurt is to book a beginner lesson for him with Jon, drop him off with a bass and go to the bass bash :-D
9. Nice.... I'm interested in a heavy relic 51P...can you bring your limelight to the next bass bash Kurt?
10.
If I haven't got a gig I'll be there. My new Limelight '63 P bass might just have arrived by then
Yes please Gary and Kurt ... I'm interested now in a limelight heavy relic 51P you buggers :-D
11. I had a short scale Beatles bass ... Nope, prefer 34 long scale basses :-) I keep telling itself this when I get gas for a Fender Starcaster :-)
12. I'd recommend Jon Caulfield in Cardiff. Jon is on here
13. A guy bought a 3/4 off me last week to give to his 8 year old step daughter who was using his bass so that's one more bass player :-) my kid hung it around his neck Christmas Day 2012 and that was it...he is a drummer though
14.
She does look like she is trying to eat her own head at times lol
+1 lol

16. I've got a RAY 34CA but the G & L sounds different to me. I'm sure that you'll sell it but if not and you are interested please do let me know. I'm a Fender P Bass lover :-) check out Ed in this vid http://youtu.be/T95hIdjrzwc
17.
If I had a "Dream Bass" that Burgundy Mist Precision would be VERY close to it.
Think the one above is shell pink
18. Yummy :-) just had a very quick detailed reply from Peter. About 1500 euro for a burgundy mist and maybe 1600 for a flower power plus shipping and case. You're right Rob, he gets his stuff from Allparts check out this body I'm interested in. http://www.allparts.com/TBBF-BF-Blue-Flower-Finished-Telecaster-Bass-Body_p_4777.html
19. I've just put some DA black tape wounds on my FSR..love them... Sort of in between flats and rounds in tone :-)
20. I've had GAS for one for a while. I follow on FB. Fancy a 68 Tele Bass with covers and tugbar either in burgundy mist or, having seen an original on here, paisley wallpaper :-) how much do you think...about a grand? I'm awaiting a response from Peter.
21.
Those are some wonderful looking basses you're offering, however that G&L I could never afford, wah! Yeah spotted a couple of Warwicks that I would love for the £500 mark, so that would be super, and a keeper. And as Karl says, this P bass is a monster, even puts some American made to shame.
The G & L is a Tribute, not the American so it's in the ball park if you are interested. It's impressed my bass teacher. It's too much for me and I've only used it for scale practice at home. Got my Warwick off thomann for about £550... A few guys in the know say it's superb :-)
