  1. I did a number recently but I only got two 5E vouchers. I think that maybe if you just click the stars without giving comment, maybe you don't get anything. I gave comment on a couple. Dunno but I used mine to offset the delivery on a strap :-)
  2. NBD 2014 Fender FSR Deluxe P in sea foam pearl but I do like the tort pickguard above :-)
  3. I've got a new sea foam green pearl arriving next week from GAK :-) limited to 150 for Europe. Think they only had just the one on order.
  4. No this is one of the new ones Marc... Unbelievably light PS you look familiar. Were you sitting next to me at Joe Bonamassa? :-)
  5. Ah, the kitchen cabinet trick, thanks :-)
  6. I would but I've got La Bella Deep Talkin Flats on it. They've only been on a year so they've got about 20 years left :-D
  7. Might have spoke too soon. Last night when cleaning the strings, the rag was black from the strings and fretboard and tonight I noticed the bottom strap button loose. Couldn't tighten it up and eventually the screw just pulled out. Taking it to Ed in the Shed tomorrow.
  8. Any idea what effect Guy Pratt was using on the black Jazz.... I'm useless with pedals but it sounded like some sort of fuzz?
  9. Might bring my new fender rumble 100 and my warwick corvette active :-)
  10. Bought myself a 100 today. My ears are still ringing :-0 mucked about with the vintage button and the overdrive :-)
  11. Yep will do. Jon loved it :-)
  12. I'm awaiting the 59P and the PJ but I love my American P :-) They all sound different though :-)
  13. Yep, he's had a go with my American Standard P , my 60s MIM Jazz, my Cabronita P, my Warwick Pro Star Bass... In fact he's played all basses 11 I've had and this is the one he would recommend
  14. Have you got the bass lines for the whole thing in a purchased book or something? Where would you get the bass score for a musical etc?
  15. Although the thumb image will come out sideways, I took this to my bass teacher today. He was really impressed with the neck and said it would be a cracking bass to record with. He would recommend it with only a couple of other basses ( eg a Lakland) to his students :-)
  16. Yep, early bird and all that CamdenRob. They had a cream too. Just the 2 I think. Just to rub it in, Leland Sklar signed it for me at the end of the show on the Sunday. It's a keeper, love it :-)
  17. One exception, I bagged a tobacco burst RAY 34CA with a tinted maple neck early on the Saturday but had to carry it around with me all weekend, I didn't like the cream one either
  18. I've bought some but now can't decide which bass to put them on :-D
  19. I bought a RAY34CA at the Bass Show and the guitar tech I gave it to for a set up said its as good if not better than some Stingrays he's played. Got it for about £550. Doesn't stop me wanting to buy a Stingray at next years show but that's just GAS. I've got some videos on utube playing it if you're interested but excuse the playing :-D search UKFlamesey
  20. You buggers, I had to get one too... An antique tobacco active :-D
  21. Me too hamfist. My first bass was a Squire P made out of basswood. I've got 3 Fenders with another two on order. I might consider a squire vm telecaster but I'd prefer a fender one if they brought out a vm. Heard that the squire VMs are good though.
  22. Do what they do. Buy a new bass the same colour as another and if she spots it say I've had it forever :-D
  23. The only inbuilt tuner I know of is Orange but I find them harsh. I'd go for one of the new fender rumble combos or a new ashdown combo ... Both companies have brought out new really good ranges :-)
  24. I'm planning on coming Gelfin. Probably bring something a little different this time...... My Ashdown MiBass Interface and ipad with the Ampkit app on it. It has an Ashdown amp and cab on the ipad. You can play along to a set list with the amp and you can buy pedals for it too :-D problem is I haven't worked out how to play it through a real cab.I think you have to run it into a PA. I've only got it working with headphones but the new Ashdown combos have a lead and slot for it so you can play it through the new combos. I've got quite a few new basses since last time and I'll probably bring a couple of these. Warwick Pro Star Bass, 60s MIM Jazz with covers on it, a Cabronita P Bass, a Ray34CA, an Ibanez fretless , I should have my new Fender FSR PJ by then but not my custom shop 59P Heavy Relic. If anyone has a preference let me know guys which you'd like me to bring. Oh yes .. And Gary I could bring my G & L2500 again :-D Looking forward to trying the Rick again.... Still trying to convince myself I need one lol
