1.
I'm not a 'Value' bass player, anyway... more a 'Finest*', I reckon.
What?!?.... Are you admitting you are an overpriced but just a slightly fancier version of the same crap?!?
 2. It's out of date now! They need an "Everyday Value" one instead
 3. Currently (due to competing for hard disc space with OH on the main PC ) I am using garage band in my iPad, and have a little connector that I can plug my bass/guitars into. Then I have headphones and sing into the iPad in a quiet room (although I'm sure if people listen hard enough they would probably hear my kitten on the recording I did ) So, it wasn't much to get started, although I am hankering after a laptop for recording purposes, but having bought a new bass last month, I'm too skint at the moment!!
 4. I only found the recording section just before Christmas when I'd seen a general chat post which referenced the Composition Competition. I listen on a tablet most of the time (iPad) and its fine, although I will often save and listen on the home PC. If it hadn't been for that post I would have never have listened and voted on previous composition competitions and encouraged to do my own entry. The feedback I have had has been constructive and helpful, and it has certainly encouraged my musical development.
 5. Lots of girls on here, so you are in good female company Welcome
 6. +1 on the depends on the skill of the person defretting. I had an Ibanez SR300 defretted and it's gorgeous.
 7. That's fab
 8.
First up Debs (May I call you Debs?) I really liked your track the fretless playing and your accent were fantastic. As was the spoken word aspect (and tbh the singing was none too shabby aswell).
Of course you can call me Debs really appreciate the kind comments about my track
This was a tough one when it came to voting, like a lot of others I had a few favourites. I went for Debs' in the end for a few reasons. I love the bass bit at the beginning, it really sets the tone of the track. The whole concept reminded me of Paul Oakenfold's Urban Soundtracks which I loved listening to whilst doing a 250 mile drive from work to home every week about 10 years ago. Great mix of spoken word and singing I thought. And also, for your first effort, it was bloody good! Well, good for any number of efforts but it's a great début
Thankyou so much! I just hope I can be as creative in the future. I honestly didn't expect a single vote, I am amazed how well received my track has been. We must have a mutual appreciation though Mornats as you got my vote!
 9.
As usual, a high standard again this month. 3 numbers I really liked. Debs, what a cracking first entry, keep it up. Discreet, really enjoyed that one, well done Sir. Skol/Urb, just outstanding for me, a wonderful collaboration. Love it.
Thanks Sam, really appreciate it
 10.
I programmed the drums for mine while nude, slathered in thousand island dressing and being walked on by a belligerent Chinese woman* *unfortunatley, only two of these things are true.
And I don't know which combination of two of the above three are least or most disturbing Nige - re your comment on the page before, bless you sweetheart ((hugs)) x
 11.
Your wish is my command. Alakazam..!
thanks Doug I am honestly amazed that three people have voted for my composition Thankyou whoever you all are
 12. Phew, I thought my rather foolish playboy shoot had made the Internet..... Then I realised it was much much worse as it was encouraging more people to listen to my first track I'd written for a competition. Dad, you are going to need to provide a big bouquet to make up for this one
