1.
Brand new year, same old bump. Note reduced price, practically giving it away. Get it now before I'm forced onto the 'Bay
Is this still available?
 2. Bought His MAG 410, dead easy deal. Nice bloke to deal with. I didn't question him on his football tastes so I can't hold that against him. Cheers mate Chris
 3.
After christmas bumpage!
I'll take that! PM'd
 4.
Anyone bought a 751 then ? Had a few 750's and considering the 751 as my "come-back" amp !! opinions welcome Thanks Guys Mark
Hello mate, I've played through a number of 751's all through Aggie 810 cabs and they sound every bit as good as the 750 I got from you. However I don't see any reason in selling the 750 in order to get a 751. I would say that the 751 is a great amp and would be an ideal way to start your "come-back" All the best, Noir
 5.
Hello Folks Here we have for sale my USA P Bass with S1 switching. It's in fabulous condition with only the usual minor surface scratches(if any) that are too hard to photograph. Previous owner cd_david can also vouch for how nicely this looks and plays. Gold scratch plate was added afterwards, I still have the white one that originally came with the bass. This bass comes with the Fender moulded hard case plus all the case candy. I believe this is a 2005 vintage. Sad to let this go because it is such a nice sounding and playing instrument but sadly it doesn't get enough usage. No trades thanks. I can ship but it will be additional to the price of the bass. Cheers Jem
Where are you based sir?
 6. +1 for the EBS, This is the one that always comes out with me. great tracking and warm tone, in a bomb proof box. I also use a Micro POG, This is a digital octaver therefore the tracking is perfect even on a low E. Not as warm as the EBS though. I tend to use the POG for the octave up and the EBS for Octave down.
 7. Yet another +1 for Alan, He just bought a Reggie Hamilton Jazz bass from me. Lovely bloke to deal with, really easy sale. Hope you enjoy it. All the best Chris
 8.
Wow, that was quick - no wonder, it's a nice bass.
Not as nice as that Sadowsky you're flaunting. Now I'll if I can just sell all my other bits, just need another £1600....temptation, must resist!
 9. Sold pending the usual, That was quick, under 30 mins!
 10. +1 its giving me the horn!
 11. Hi all, I'm looking to move this on, bought from M-Y-N on this forum about 8 months ago. This bass has a great low action P/J P'up config with active / passive switch, Hipshot D-tuner, pre-amp etc. Its in very good condition. I have added a Badass II bridge that I will include in the sale as it does significantly improve the playability of this bass. I will include the original Fender bridge too. Also comes with the Fender gig bag. I've even got the Fender manual, sticker and tags if you're really anal (like me) I bought this with the intention of changing the Pickups, electronics and pre-amp but have never gotten round to it, on gigs I end up taking either my Jap P or CS Jazz bass so this just sits around wanting to be played. Looking for £400 Can been seen on the far right below: I'm based in North London so if you do want to try it please feel free to pop over and I'll put the kettle on.
 12. Just bought Chris' Cream Pie. A true gent he held it for me till I got back from a short holiday. Arrived very quickly. Top class. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from again Cheers Chris Noir
 13.
So I've decided to move on my Tri112L Accugroove cab. I guess you can get the specs from here : http://www.accugroove.com/ Those of you that are in the know will be fully aware how awesome this cab is. They retail (at the Bass Gallery) at £645 and I am including a padded cover which I think also sells for another £100. I've only used this cab (gigs & rehearsals) no more than a handful of times, so it's in perfect condition and just over a year old. The asking price ? £450. I can't be arsed with the shipping so it will be pick-up only and I'm based in Guildford. Here's some pics (sorry, taken on a phone). Have a think and let me know if you're interested.
I've tried this cab and can vouch for the great tone it gives. Its as good as new too. Bargain. Phuze is a top chap to deal with. Best of luck with the sale mate. Noir

 15.
What are you using on the Prunes & Custard and the X-Blender? Why not use that on the others?
Yeah they all have velcro on the bottom, the P & C and X-blender are v light pedals and adhere well to the board thus no need for the cable tie. The heavier pedals pull themselves off if they get a bit of a bash or worse still are left to the baggage handlers when taken overseas. Short of screwing them down I see the cable tie as a cheap and simple solution.
 16.
Good to see some judicious cable tie use there.
It's the only way to ensure they stay put. Unless anyone can enlighten me otherwise?
 17. As I'm hanging around waiting to go to a gig I thought I would post up my gig board. Enjoy.
 18.
Can anybody who already uses these cabs tell me/reassure me that a Berg 1x12 would be sufficient for most gigs? I play in a couple of function bands and a 6-piece ska band (2 guitars, drums, bass, sax and trumpet). I'd say that the majority of gigs I do have the bass D.I.'d, but just in case I want a cab that is going to cope. Any opinions, experiences are greatly appreciated.
Hi, I use 2 Berg 1 X 12 cabs with a Mark Bass F1 head. I play in a pretty loud Rock band most of the time and I would not leave the house without both cabs. That said I'm often just using backline. I did however use just the one cab on a function the other day and it was fine in terms of volume. I've never tried just one cab when using the house monitors, but I suspect it'd be fine Depending on how loud the Ska band is I think you could probably get away with one cab but the headroom you get with both cabs is excellent. I must say that I've not tried the Schroeder cabs but the F1 / Berg combination is the best compact rig I've ever played through. Hope that helps
 19.
Meshell Ndegeocello is pronounced Mee-shell N-deh-gay-o-chel-o
+1 to this En-day-gay-o-chel-o I saw it written phonetically on her website years ago, so I'm sure this is correct. Have loved her music and playing since her first album, although she always catches me out when she brings out a new album and I don't really get it - after a few listens I always come to the conclusion that she's a genius. Have seen her many times live and she is without doubt my favorite groove player. http://www.freemyheart.com/ for all the info / clips / tour dates etc.
 20.
Nice to meet you too, Chris. Sorry I left the Shuker out too Tell him I sent you .....
LOL!
 21.
Sorry! I'm sure Chris will notice your post, though, should he suddenly be overcome with ShukerLust and feel the need to send it on it's merry way again
I must admit to some Shuker lust but at the moment I am rather taken with this Valenti, It sounds fantastic! Gigs this w/end will be the true test but I don't think this'll be going far from me for a while. Sorry
 22. Just popped over to Cardiff for a lovely cup of tea and a chat with Simon and walked away with a fantastic Valenti P bass. Result! Simon was very easy to deal with and was very helpful in changing viewing dates due to my last minute gigs. I couldn't help but have a go on his rather wonderful Shuker P though, might have started an immediate fresh GAS attack. here we go again! Thanks again Si, really pleased with the Valenti, I'll keep you posted how i get on.
 23.
Bump for a Long Good friday
Pm'd
