I've used unrealBook for a few years now. https://itunes.apple...d370135173?mt=8 You can take photos of existing charts or upload PDF's. this can all be arranged into setlist a for each project. I also like the ability to draw over the top so if you have a different arrangement, need to add a cue or spot a mistake in the chart you can easily scribble notes. I've even done this mid gig between songs. I've transcribed everything in Sibelius over about the last 10 - 15 years, so it was really easy for me to convert the charts to PDF and then upload then to unrealBook. Also, for simple chord charts I use iReal pro. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/ireal-pro-music-book-play-along/id298206806?mt=8 It's well worth learning how to make your own charts within this. The bonus here is if you set up the form of the song correctly you can use it for play along too. The transpose feature on this has saved me a few times too.

Patrick Eggle Guitars Berlin-Stage Series Often hailed as the Poor mans PRS, this is Luthier built instrument for a far east production line price point. Great sounding guitar, dual humbuckers give it Les Paul / SG tones and it can do a good Fender Impression with the coil tap engaged. I believe this to be ’94, slap bang in the middle of the Golden Era for Partick Eggle guitars. Body is 1 piece Brazilian Mahogany, set neck is 24 fret Mahogany & Indian Rosewood Features mahogany set neck Rosewood fingerboard Mahogany body Sperzel locking machine heads Wilkinson floating tremolo with intonation adjustment. This can be set up as floating, but I currently have it locked off. Two passive Seymour Duncan humbuckers. Master volume Master tone with push/pull coil tap 3-way switch. This guitar has been well gigged and shows some body wear on the treble side by the neck pickup. I should also point out that the truss rod cover is missing. Otherwise it is all original and fully working. I’ll include a Gator polyfoam case like this: http://www.gatorcase...244/gl-electric So it can be posted if need be. I will also consider trades, but cash is king as I’m trying to fund studio build. I’m based in N21 London for viewings.

About to move house, so trying to declutter a bit. I have the following for sale Withdrawn-found a use for it![s]Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe First up the awesome programmable VT bass preamp, This has now become redundant due to the purchase of a Bass Fly Rig and I seem to have acquired a ton of preamp/DI pedals. 6 presets for one instrument or 3 each for two. Programable fx loop too which is a very cool feature. This had developed a strange fault where it lost volume on half of the presets, its since had a visit to Guitar aid where they found the culprit to be a dry joint. Now working perfectly. The top edge is a little tatty, but other than that, excellent condition. Includes original box. £175 £165[/s] SOLD [s]EBS Micro Bass II preamp Swiss army knife for bass (that phrase gets banded about far too much, but this really is), everything you'll ever need in one box. Great preamp, the ability to plug in two basses an once, classic EBS drive section, effects loop, aux input, headphone out. you name it this has it. Recently had one of the pots replaced as its was a little scratchy, and a full service by Martin Peterson at the Gallery, who commented on how well designed it was. Fair condition, some signs of wear, boxed with instructions - £185 £175[/s] Withdrawn [s]MXR M80 bass DI - pic to follow See, I told you I had too many, last of the pre amps - the classic MXR bass DI. Built like a tank, built in distortion circuit, runs off phantom power, Swiss army knife of......oh, hang on. You know what this is. Boxed with instructions, gigged, but not thrashed. - £105 £95[/s] Withdrawn - Digitech Trio Great little pedal for practice and songwriting experimentation. Works surprisingly well for bass as well as guitar particularly since the recent firmware upgrade. I bought this as I was doing loads of duo gigs and we needed a makeshift drummer, it provided this with spot on timing and a lot less backchat VGC, boxed with instructions and original PSU - [s]£85[/s] £75 SOLD [s]EHX Octave Multiplexer Classic analogue octave from EHX, funky and glitchy. I have far too many octave pedals so letting this one go. Bought new from Andertons a couple of years ago and barely used. Mint condition w/ box and instructions/box bumf. - £55 £50[/s] SOLD [s]EHX Dr Q Simple one knob filter, does what it says on the tin. This is a 90's reissue of the 70's classic. possibly better on guitar, but fine on bass too. VG condition with box, instructions, paper manual, EHX catalogue - £30 £25[/s] SOLD [s]AKAI Inteliphase From the same range as the Deep Impact and Unibass this is AKAI's version of a Phase 90. Great sounding phaser with an unusual envelope sensitive effects level control. No box and its quite tatty but fully functional. - £25 £20[/s] Withdrawn - Catalinbread V8 Fuzz Long before Mooer came along Catalinbread produced this Big Muff in a 1590a enclosure. It has quite unbelievable amounts of level and will go into extreme self-oscillation with the fuzz knob pushed past 12 O'clock. Good condition with box. Has a little Velcro underneath too. - [s]£70[/s] £65 All prices include postage to UK. Payment via Bank transfer or Paypal Gift please. I will entertain trades, but mainly trying to generate cash for an Upright bass. please offer via PMs SaveSave
I've had both the Zoom B3 & the POD HD500x, I must say that the HD is absolutely superb, great sounds, loads of choice with effects and options. The B3 was good, but the HD is brilliant. It takes time to set up, but well worth taking the time to set up. The upside of the new Zoom B3n coming out, is the fact that there should be some very good deals on the B3.
+1 on the POD HD500x. The modelling is excellent. Whilst the Zoom is good, the POD is in a different league. - you do need the bass expansion pack though.
I stumbled across these the other week and have enjoyed most of them. As you say, it too has inspired me to pick up my bass. Did you catch the pedal one? Very cool but not helpful for my gas, I now want a meatbox and bitcrusher!
Yes, I did catch that one. I have bitcrusher GAS too now - already got a Meatbox👍

Is anyone else watching these? I've become hooked. I'm finding great inspiration to practice just from watching about ten of these episodes. Here's the most recent: https://youtu.be/5PZvsSZsA7c Hats off to him for the enormous amount of effort it must take to make each day.

Ha! You beat me to it 😄

Whilst I have the bass flyrig, GT-10b and the Zoom B3, I would say the POD 500x is by far and away the best. It excels for drives, comps and EQ's. The octave is the best modelled octave down I've tried. The modulation's are great, as are the verbs and delays. Even the synth effects are pretty usable with a bit of tweaking. It did take me a good while to dial in the filters how I liked. I would also say the Bass model pack is essential too and very good. I'm consistently surprised how quickly I can get the sound I'm after using the Edit software, and with a bit of practice how close you can get to the real thing when A/B'd The Flyrig is great for is portability. I can cover most things with this pedal alone. The GT-10b is a phenomenaly powerful effects processor. If you need to be able to control multiple effects and assign things all over the place it's the one for you. It's tweakability is unparalleled. The Zoom B3 is amazing for the money. It has top class modelling and effects. E.g. It has my 2nd favourite octave model (after the 500x) and the synths rival the classics. But I do find it a little clunky in terms of usuabillity on a gig - switching between patches and individual effects is a bit tap dancy.

I quite like it, I'm a sucker for a black p bass though. Plus the namesake connection.😄
