  1. Im not sure if I've found the "ones" but I completely agree that the journey is more fun than the destination. Since getting the C4 and disaster Area micro, ita replaced a few pedals, and I could replace more but I like variety. I was fairly pedal gas free, but had a recent reshuffle to unlock funds. As a result I've sold a very faithful pedal my Cog T70. I've also changed compressor from Cali76cb to the FEA Optifet. I have some pedals thst I keep coming back to all the time, like the MXR M82 (C4 replaced it ๐Ÿ˜‚) I've always loved the EBS Octabass or an OC2, I have the MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe which is lovely. I never keep something though, even though a lot of these pedals have worked for me.
  2. Actually that whole thing looks awful ๐Ÿ˜‚
  3. I used to play this tune at college and in funk bands in Newcastle in my younger days great tune. I also love an album by BB King called "Midnight believer" which was The Crusaders as the backing band and Pops Powell was on it. He played on a frw tracks on Randy Crawford's first couple of Albums. Later Wilton Felder started playing more and they used Abraham Laboriel! All beautiful players๐Ÿ˜
  4. Bah i dont look at basschat for one day ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I keep meaning to get one of these.
  5. Not for me, but i think it looks great ๐Ÿ˜
  6. I once had a old Tokai jazz in lake placid blue ,that faded to a green colour. I managed to source a mint pearloid guard for it and it looked ace ๐Ÿ˜
  7. Don't worry, I'm more likely to get a cream pearl ๐Ÿ˜
  8. Actually that might look nice on my 425 too๐Ÿค”
  9. Hmmmm sweetie knobs!
  10. I've no use for this, but if I could afford it, I'd bexstraighrvin there. Cool pedal with a cool name ๐Ÿ˜
  11. Daryl always in the right place at the right time! His mate Vince Wilburn was Miles Davies Nephew and recommended him for the miles gig. Daryl is a hell of a player though "You're under arrest" was constantly on my turntable as a youngster. I think He and Steve Jordan will really drive that band.
  12. Yes I thought t was Doug Wimbish too!
  13. Im not even going to listen to this๐Ÿ˜‚ IMO Guns and Roses only had one good album in them! But what an album, I think if you only created Appetite for Destruction, you could die happy, a perfect Album.
  14. My wife's been made a mod, and she's fed up of me talking to you.
  15. If i login via WIFI everything's fine, however logging in with mobile 4G shows me as "Banned" never do much had a crossed word in 13 years of being a member. Any idea if is my mobile provider at fault?

  20. I really enjoyed that! Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ˜
  21. Yeah I have it set in paralell with the C4! Sounds amazing ๐Ÿ˜
  22. Mrs Travis is a rare woman!
  23. Having another shuffle about, and as my C4 is covering a whole range of synth sounds, it's time to give someone a crack at this classic fuzz pedal. There's a pedal I'm after,If it goes I will withdraw this. It's a silicon fuzz with a 3 way subs switch (none/a bit/loads of bass) and a gate. It's basically the mighty wooly mammoth but has an input impedance so it doesn't go crazy with active basses/buffers. If your into octave/fuzz/filter combos, then this is the one to have, using the Gate can get you from classic fuzz tones, all the way to spitty Velcro sounds, which is where this pedal shines. It is in mint condition and comes with the original box (Yes you heard right a box!!!) It has high quality Velcro on the bottom and is pedalboard ready. SOLD

    Preamp

I have the EBS Microbass 2 (third one I've owned now) and I have used these on tours without a rig. You have the ability to plug in and switch between two different basses. It has overdrive and the fantastic HD350 pre amp ,A mute function and headphone amp. As previously stated the DI is very high quality and I've always got good comments from sound engineers when using it. It also has a effects loop so you can plug in your toys. No aux in (there is on the MB3) but the FX return can be used as an aux in.
