  1. @BassTractor Thankyou so much, that means a lot! I've definitely been learning that a lot of these synth lines are quite behind, so easy to rush! @Duarte Awesome suggestion, I'll dig into that! I've taken on a few more since, hope nobody minds me spamming my own thread!
  2. 3 from 3.... Also sold some strings to Jimmy, well recommended!
  3. Cheers @Quatschmacher ... Love Come Down by Evelyn King! I've been working on these patches for bloody ages, I think they'll be pretty useful for other tunes too!
  4. Ta very much!
  5. Anyone else spending more time on their synth playing at the moment?
  6. Aiming for daily-ish uploads... here's hoping the weather stays warm!
  7. @dave84 Some nice stuff there, well presented!
  8. I'm sure there used to be a thread on this once upon a time, but I may be mistaken as I can't find it. I'm sure a lot of members here are doubling down on their video skills at the moment with a bit more free time, I'm subscribed to a few of you but it'd be fun to see more and put some names to some faces/hands! I'd be very happy to keep this first post updated with a list (feel free to message me if I miss you out). In these tricky times I'm sure everyone would appreciate views and subscribers (I know I would!), and I'd certainly be up for signing up to anyone here. 9. No sure who to ask, but it seems like I have two feedback threads, both in the first few pages at the moment. Any chance of a merge?
  10. Just sold some strings to Nick, who was patient when I couldn't get them out as quickly as I hoped. A true gent and wouldn't hesitate to deal with again!
  11. All include UK postage. Way Huge Pork Loin £65 SOLD T-Rex Mudhoney Overdrive/fuzz £60 SOLD 4i4o Patchbay £35 4114 Effects Fdeck HPF clone £65 SOLD Moollon Boost £80
  12. Fdeck High pass filter/preamp by 4114 effects... only selling as I've invested in a DI with similar features. Shows an upright bass/acoustic instrument pickup the impedance it wants to see, and allows the removal of low end as and when required. Also includes a phase switch, Can really help tame a double bass! 9v standard boss supply powered. Pice includes UK postage.
  13. 3 sets of briefly tried bass strings. The 5s I would have cut so that they'd still fit on a 4-string if needed. Prices include UK postage. Ernie Ball Cobalt Flatwounds 5-string £45 D'daddarion Nylon Tapewounds 5-string £45 SOLD GHS Pressurewound 4 string £22 SOLD
  14. Absolutely... taking the weekend to assess things at the moment. The only certainty is that the dog'll be getting a lot of long walks (shutdown allowing...)
  15. Two tours wiped out today.. one UK and one Europe, and my only significant source of income over the next 2 months. Same story for a few of my friends. Not really sure where to go from here, nor how the mortgage is getting paid! Maybe the YouTube musicians have got it right...
  16. Having had one, I’d actually recommend getting something like a backbeat... the haptic feedback resonates some bass through your body, and even without headphones you can hear the notes you’re playing. You can sit in front of the tv, feel like you’re playing quite loud and not bother anyone! It also means that money has gone on something useful for gigs, and with its aux input it’s a great practice tool too. Just an alternative thought!
  17. Happy to provide a folder full of great patches I've gathered for this as a bonus if anybody goes for it 😁
  18. Back up for sale as we've just bought a house and need all the cash we can get! No trades sadly!
  19. Not plugged into a computer with MainStage, GarageBand or logic open are you?
  20. Cali 76 for sale... Velcro on base, and boxed. Condition clear in photos! Price includes Special Delivery in the UK, Collection welcome! Gigrig adaptor no longer available.
  21. Just completed a sale of my Tonehammer to Arnoldo, a smashing basschatter, deal with confidence!
  22. Gigged both a number of times with a tonehammer 500 head. Personally I find the DB410 a far more enjoyable cab to use, but it's certainly heavier and chunkier. I did like the SL but found it a bit weak in comparison. I actually now use the Fender Neo 410, as I found it to be similar in tone and dimensions to the DB, but a similar weight to the SL!
  23. Performed with a couple of my favourite local bassists behind me... trying to pretend they arn't there! This is a track I've always wanted to do! @Quatschmacher Have you considered any of the Behringer offerings? Looks like the Deepmind 6 could be a useful tool for us lot!
  24. @Quatschmacher have you got a sub 37? Love to share some stuff! I think I’m keeping both Moogs
