I love my Curt Mangan nickel wounds when not using flats... nice under the fingers, sound a little played in from the start and stay pretty consistent!

Sold a Maruz..maroos...maruuus... erm.... a strap to Paul, very easy to deal with, recommended!

I've neglected this thread since the summer... safe to say the journey is in full flow and the collection has grown! I'm still going to put the idea of a shared dropbox in place, drumming up support from across the pond too! 3 synths is a bit much so the Sub Phatty will be leaving shortly, once I've managed to mimic all my patches. I wanted the extra octave, and the Novation is great for smaller gigs. I prefer the Moogs for sure but the Bass Station does do certain things really nicely too.

I sold a Sandberg to @Baceface... lovely to deal with, patient whilst I made my decision and again when the courier took their time! Highly recommended!

Carl is epic... heard him with Matt Schofield a few years ago, the album they did together is awesome!

The first Sandberg I every played was a VS4 with Aguilar pickups... sounded fantastic and got me hooked!

@PJ-Bassist The VMs just work really well for me.. every now and then I have basses in transit or stored with a production so it's nice to have consistency! The new one was ordered to the exact spec of the creme VM4 and they feel pretty much identical. Might delve into other models next year... Classic & Cool have a Forty Eight I rather like!

I've always had a thing for blue basses, and my Sandberg collection has just grown by one...

@EBS_freak any further news on the potential wobbly board? Considering options again...

I love the way the wood has been aged on this one, some of the most authentic I've seen! I actually may have a Creme HCA VM4 available soon... I've got one I ordered a while ago (Blue has kind of become my thing!) arriving imminently and as long as I love it as much as my others I'm considering letting my first one go... drop me a message if you'd like to chat!

@GisserD Confession time... I've recently become a Sandberg Artist, and they knew what I was looking for, so the VM5 sort of got lost on the way to Bass Direct and ended up in my rack

I managed to snap up this VM5 the other week... I've never had a more playable 5 string and it's lighter than any 4 I've owned! Also spotted our friend Mark (Limelight/Classic & Cool Guitars) has got some new 'Stealth' VMs coming in that I thought looked pretty cool! Another VM4 on the way too... I've developed a slight habit!
