    With an impending 6x10, this 8 ohm 115 is a little bit spare at the moment! Pop-out castors and a good padded cover. A few little marks but nothing significant... not heavy and sounds great! I can consider courier-ing it, but it won't be particularly cheap I'd imagine. I'm in Bournemouth but do trek around the southwest a lot.

    @javi_bassist I Can try... two principles here, one is to make the journey from the input to the DI as short as possible so that when recording it can be as 'pure' a tone as I can get, and the other is to be able to run other instruments in different configurations. So we get the Wireless and Jack Input 1 combined together (both always active), into the input of the wonderlove. The output of the Wonderlove goes to the DI. The Gigrig Switcher is then in the effects loop of the Wonderlove which means that if I turn the wonderloves buffer circuit off then none of it is in the signal path. Usually I'd leave it on, so this means that all the effects are after the envelope trigger but before the actual filter. After the Noble DI there's a switch between all that and the 2nd input jack (which has it's own Radial DI), then the HPF and out to the amp. None of this affects what is going out to front of house, unless the amp is mic'd. It means that synth/double bass can either go in input 1 (therefore using the same DI as the electric bass and also can run through FX), or through input 2 to the radial DI (more control out front, more common!). I also put in a channel switch for the Bassman, although it's unlikely I'm going to find myself using it a whole lot I think. @Higgie cheers man, it's taken a lot of experimentation and trying things out to get to this, and of course I'm already thinking of improvements. The USB is from Temple Audio... I believe these are discontinued now, but I'm hoping to migrate all this back to my Alder & Ash board when it comes back from a service, which has one built in, so I might be able to let it go! Crucial for keeping an old iPad alive on stage for charts, and you also find your pedalboard becomes the hub of people looking to charge their phones... @Kamiel I find myself running sets a lot, and I hate to play with a watch on... so I keep old watches everywhere! Everyone knows Analog sounds better right?

    @Marky Screen Whatever he uses stock... he doesn't claim them to be anything special but they tried many and found they did what they wanted! Can't say I'd ever wish to change them!

    Another cheeky request... I'm strongly considering @Salt on your Bass?'s Barefaced Retro 610. I run a Fender Super Bassman and currently have a Neo 410 which I'll be keeping regardless. I would go for one of their 610s but the barefaced is lighter, slightly more compact and has side handles. However I'm not sure if A.the amp will fit well on the cab, and B. if I will prefer the tone to the Fenders, which I love, and it's a long way to go for something that may or may not be right! My question is does anyone out there in basschatland have a Barefaced retro 410/610/810 within an hour of Bournemouth (ish), or near Exeter for the moments when I''m back there that they might be willing to let me compare with my fender and have a play with? Worth a shot!

    Up for sale is Limelight 0222... Mark built this for me last summer and it's a lovely bass! I'm only selling because I've got my eye on something rather old (and expensive), and I've also just become affiliated with Sandberg, so their basses will be covering the more modern side of things for me (and yes, I will be getting a blue one!) Headstock carries his own branding, finish is Lake Placid Blue with a silver base, so is slightly different to vintage fender LPB and shows up really nicely under the lights. Vintage style Jazz bass knobs and wiring (VVT), Aged lightly (to his standards) with a really nice neck finish(38mm Nut). Currently strung with Curt Mangan 45-105s, and weighting in at exactly 4kg. No trades unless by chance you have a Fender Neo 6 or 8x10!

    @Mook I was a bit worried about this too, my gut feeling is that it'd be fine, but I'm running a HPF at around 37 after the two signals combine to ensure the cab doesn't get bit sustained amounts of anything it can't handle. For these gigs I'm taking a 1x15 just for some lows on stage, PA and IEMs for monitoring!

    @Rattle&Drum VM4... recent purchase from here and about to get another one I think, loving it! The thing I really miss about the synth compared to regular is the touch sensitivity... if you're a little unsure on bass it's easy enough to ease something in, on the synth it feels like a huge commitment! Volume pedal might help but it's not quite the same...

    A sore left hand was a good excuse to try and blag as much of Saturday's set on the Moog as possible... made for a fun, if slightly hairy evening! I'm ok as long as things are going smoothly, it's when a mistake is made or things don't go to plan where the lack of experience shows!
