1. Hi All, I have, after long deliberation, for sale my Fender Highway One Jazz Bass. This is the 2006+ version with Badass bridge and graphite supports in the neck. It will come with a Fender Deluxe gig bag, truss rod tool, cleaning cloth, owners manual, original labels and tags. The bass is strung with Rotosound RS66 nickels and I will also include 2 sets of D'Addario and one set of Fender 7150 used strings which still have life left in them. It is in vey good condition with only a few very minor dings, non of which are prominent an only one can be seen from the front. Please see the attached photographs. 2. My 30.5" short scale came in a Fusion Funksion guitar bag by the looks of it. I would think the crucial dimension is going to be the width and Fusion usefully give you the detail on this at the upper and lower bouts of the bag on their website details
3. Could you tell me what the internal height from the bottom of the bag to the underside of the larger tray support wedge is Jenny.
4. Voted Yes 51-60 as past experiences lugging equipment upstairs really called for lighter gear. Not found a problem with tone but run through a DHA VT1 into the GB Shuttle 3.0-8T, which will be hooked up to a 12" lightish cab when required. May get a Barefaced in the future.
5. Have a look at Scott Whitley's short scale bass site he has a few guitar specific cases: www.shortscalebass.co.uk/shop/

NIce one, always thought about getting one of these - maybe one day.
7. Had a bass recently delivered in a Fusion Fuksion and was well impressed with the quality of the gig bag. 2 large pockets on the front.
8. Purchased a Skelf 4 Short Scale from Alan. Very helpful and responsive during the question and answer process and the delivery was excellent once I had decided what mods I wanted. Thanks Alan.
9. As stated earlier try one of the DHA pedals first or go for a passive bass. Where are you based?
10. I did also have a Korean made NS94 neck through some years ago which was/is a superb bass with plenty of sustain fitted with SD pickups. Still regret letting it go but I needed a passive bass at the time.
11. I have the older 5 string Legend with bolted neck. They are excellent guitars although I am thinking of selling mine soon as I just don't use it.
12. I bet it radiates a lovely tone.....
13. It may seem strange but have you considered using headphones to practice through, finding a level that does not trigger the tinnitus? I have permanent tinnitus and find that listening to music can help relieve the symptom. Also having this symptom continually means that the brain does sometimes filter out the whistling - a skill not possible manually.
14. Skiffle anyone. Lonnie Donegan would be proud.
15. Have a look in the affiliates section where scrumpymike has posted his comments and there are also reviews on Scott's website.
16. Have you thought of trying a short scale bass?
17. Welcome, hope you continue to play now you've started again.
18. Saw The Manfreds last Wednesday, one word EXCELLENT. Paul Jones can still teach modern frontmen what it's all about. The band - Paul Jones, Tom McGuiness, Marcus Cliffe, Mike Hugg, Simon Currie and Rob Townsend. Cracking night.
19. Welcome Simon68. I have found that the online tutoring can be very useful and hooked up with the Scott Whitley and Scott Devine sites. It may not replace face to face but it has helped me exile one or two bad habits.
20. Break your playing into 15 minute sessions with a small break in between each. Listen to music or make a drink then go back to your practice.
21. Hi scrumpymike, spot on - my requirements are very similar including the music played but with the exception that I don't use a pick.
22. Hi scrumpymike, what made you choose the passive with ash body over the mahogany version?
