1. Hi I'll sell you a T151 cab if you are looking to add to the rig, makes it run at 500watts. It's the older narrower one so would look fine below yours as a mini rig! I've never used it, as the T210 I have is fine on is own. Looking for £320 or £340 with roqsolid cover.
2. I really would not encourage anyone to be sticking a screwdriver or similar into a live socket, earth or not! However, I've found the weakness in my AKG bug was the inputs from the amp, the jack gave up after around a year and the XLR is on its way out too, mind I do have a hefty jack to XLR convertor hanging out of it! They are very useful for allowing you to mix the sound when you don't have the luxury of a sound engineer.
3. and "Idle Hands" are named after our rehearsal space in Idle...
4. You may find this useful.... http://www.garywillis.com/pages/bass/bassm...etupmanual.html
5. I started with them and found the G&L Forum quite useful, and the Draymiles postings interesting too. There's a certain female from Newcastle who keeps them all amused too.......
6. You could always involve the Leith Police unless they...
7. Nice bass Ross but there's something wrong with your camera: it's only photographed 6 strings.....?
8. Sigh....well, its been about a week since we had the last bust-up. Chalk or cheese anyone?
9. Sold my G&L L 2500 to dave (bottomfeed). All the financials went through perfectly: he even stumped up toward extra insurance after I underestimated the cost of posting. I hope the bass becomes a valued member of his collection!

11.
Ok i have my heart set on an SX JB75CT NAT. I'm in Finland, and nowhere here sells SX basses. Rondo music in the USA wont ship to Finland. Does anyone know anywhere in Europe that sells them and would ship to Finland?
Try doing a search for 'SX', I think someone in Ireland stocks them?
12. A friend who runs a small music shop says all the new prices are coming through at least 30% up.
13.
Are Lancastrians allowed?
"Are Lancastrians allowed to come? " I think we have been there already... the answer was don't talk about football and bring plenty of bass gear we can confiscate at the border, as I recall!
14. Hey guys, I assume you are fluent in Japanese? Give him a break, even if the neck repair does look a little rustic!
15. Ah, I'm feeling the love! Thanks guys!
16. Are Lancastrians allowed to come? Only if they don't mention Football and bring lots of nice bass gear which we confiscate at the border!
17. Yes, it was the carrier's small print that said" must be able to be dropped 1 metre" that caused me to rethink my packaging strategy from a bin liner to something more protective.....!
18. "What's wrong with Perfect"? It's all that balancing on the barge that hacks me off, along with the mando-cello which just does not amplify well! (Sorry, look at the video!) Actually it's one of those I've played in a number of bands over the years and it's jaunty nature has started to grate....
19. Well, at least it's only your name that is Rusty....!
20. "to 'sex up' a young no tail. " Sorry, It's been a long time since I was down with da kidz....what exactly does that phrase mean?
21. Disclaimer: Crawling up a Hill by Katie Melua is quite nice little song IMHO and we then run Hit the Road Jack into the end of it as it's virtually the same chords. I actually suggested this song to the band and was met with the same incredulous response ! Normally I'd run a mile (or maybe walk a mile in your shoes) for Katie in the setlist but it does fit the demographic of our audiences too!
22. Apart from Rehab (never liked it) and Perfect, I can genuinely say I enjoy playing all the songs!
23. How about a roadie and walky talkies? You would obviously have to teach them how to press the receive button....
24. In the spirit of giving, I thought I'd share our Christmas setlist for our gig at a social club in the village I live. The Trio is being augmented on this occassion by a drummer and a saxophone player, so it should be fun. I have bought some novelty festive headgear for all the band too....
