1. My old band Crybaby Deathmatch are looking for a new bass player! Check out some tunes here: http://crybabydeathmatch.bandcamp.com If interested, get in touch via Facebook or Twitter - or if you really want to contact them but use neither of those let me know and I can put you in touch!
2.
It's been out for a couple of years. Not a new product at all. At the time the other app stores were nothing compared to Apple.
Android has had a good app store for well over two years now, but I was thinking more along the lines of a standard Mac/Windows app, as with the TC Electronic Toneprint, and, er pretty much every single other piece of music hardware with a USB connection.
3. The speaker sim button turns off the speaker sim which is basically just a high-end roll off. To be used when you're using it with a real cab and want to hear it's natural high end roll off instead of the one in the pedal. The bite button adds a boost to the high mids and also a sub sonic filter to remove ultra low frequencies the speaker can't produce. The regular VT Bass (v2) has these speaker sim and bite buttons combined into one button, whereas the DI version just splits them into two.
4.
sucks that it's only for Apple :-(
Massive fail. Why limit their audience by doing this?
5. Half of those clips sound like a Jazz to me, there's some great sounding clips in there I reckon: http://soundcloud.com/ebs-soundsamples
6. I bought this on a whim to replace my old VT Bass but soon came to the realisation that I want to run other pedals after it, so I won't even use the DI output! It's only been tested for about half an hour at home then put back in it's tin. £200 delivered to your door! Sold!
7. I've had a B2 and B3, and both buzzed when being used in a daisy chain shared with other pedals, but fine when on their own isolated power supply. If yours is noisy with the bundled power supply and it's not daisy chained to other pedals then perhaps something is up, do you have another 9v supply you can try?

9. Ebony is supposedly an option too. A black 2025X with an ebony board would be killer.
10. Nice bass! Don't be afraid to play the thing, take it on tour!
11. I think they look awesome, especially this one: [Img]http://www.soundsliveshop.com/Resources/Images/main/YAM-BB2025XBlack.jpg" class="ipsImage" />

Gojira Pedals.

Same thing happened to Mark at Earthbound Audio when the Supercollider got popular. Still no excuse for lies and bad communication though!
13. Not sure if this one ever sold: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/212150-ampeg-svt-di-valve-di-box
14. T40s go for around £350 in good condition, these are rarer and it looks like a very clean example, so I don't think it's overpriced.
15. I'm surprised you think the Squier/Fenders have narrow string spacing, they are some of the chunkiest 5ers around. Definitely avoid Yamaha and Ibanez if you want a chunky neck.
16. Why is this still here, don't you people know a good fuzz when you see one?! I'd buy it but already got one!
17. That brought back some memories, I had that DMC final on VHS and seen Craze live a few times too! It takes an extraordinary amount of skill, I got pretty good at the scratching part, but beat juggling requires a lot of ambidextrous coordination.
18. I'm just about to cough up the market place fees and sell a bunch of basses, including a Squier Matt Freeman Precision, and I'm not far from Northamptonshire!
19. Do you mean 'disco octaves'? If so, I play index finger on the low note, followed by ring then middle on the high notes. But some people play it with two fingers with agile string skipping, or play the low note with the thumb then use the first two fingers.
20. A Super 12 is perfect for a pub - less footprint than your typical cab, but a bit of extra height so people can hear you. I personally would change the Streamliner though, I thought the one I had sounded cr@p.
21. Check out Italia and Danelectro basses too if you want the retro look like that Eastwood.
22. Er, maybe it's not wired up correctly? There should be a massive difference, from bright and clanging with it fully up and dull and thuddy when rolled off.
23. The Fender Modern Player series are made in China (although this isn't one of them).
24.
What I really mean is i don't really care what tone i get from the sound guy as long as i can hear myself on stage.
If I had a 30W valve amp on stage, I would want everyone else in the audience to hear it's tone, not just me. Any overdrive from the DI out in the head would sound harsh going direct, hence if it were me I would go for a JDX or similar to smooth of the top end, and carry a regular DI or M80 as a backup.
