Tech Spec from the Bass Direct site -

Hand built by master craftsman, Mike Lull and his team of skilled luthiers in Seattle, Lull basses have been making fine quality instruments since 1977. Mike's interpretation of the classic Leo Fender designed "Precision" bass takes the build and playability to a whole new level with a 35" scale giving a fully functioning, tight B string for ease of playability and extended range. Lightweight, fully seasoned instrument grade wood is combined with the finest components for a really advanced bass guitar experience. Classic tones with more depth, range and variety than the original, a real "players" bass for the 21st Century.
I know bud and, that is exactly how I feel. That's not what a bass is for. My P bass I look after really well but as it came to me dinged up, I can just enjoy it. A shame but, at least I can say I've owned one :)

Lovely bass. Do yourself a favour, stand it in a corner on a stand and throw your door keys at it. You'll cry for a bit and die a little inside (most of us do) but then you'll have a great bass to take on tour, worry free. :)

With you on that one. The first cut is always the deepest but I'm always a bit relieved when it happens. After that you can stop worrying and just enjoy playing something special.

Nice looking beast and I'm sure it sounds lovely. Have an 'I'd be tempted but I've just bought a Sandberg PJ5' style bump

I do agree but I'm just not prepared to go through it with this bass. Daft as it sounds, I can't get past it so, it must go and someone else can deal with it :)

Love those Sandberg basses as well. Those relic'd ones look particularly tasty :) Cheers.

I've come to my senses at last, this is definitely not for sale and therefore, now withdrawn. This bass is one of the most amazing instruments I have ever played. Mike Lull has created a dream bass and I just cannot let it go. Thanks for all the comments - you are right, I'm just going to play it and enjoy it :)
