  1. i imported a secondhand godin bg4 once and had to pay dont think it was a great amount though
  2. i think maybe you should let him do a gig, because if he believes he is great already, he may be suprised when no one congratulates him on his neil peart like deftness whilst rolling the skins and drunk people always tell the truth ie "your drummers crap" and that may be a kick in the arse for him to put in some serious practise.

  4. i had an old arbor series p a few years back i liked it thought it had quite a good sound for a cheap bass

  10. mine was a silver sidewinder with p bass pickup and the single j type and a warped neck and a crap sound and the crap marlin inlay on the twelfth fret that looked like someone slipped with a router i still hate that bass ha ha

  15. i have smashed a bass not on stage though it was a horrible warped neck marlin that i wouldnt have given to my worst enemy so i smashed it, this was years ago have never regretted it

  20. hi yep was pretty lucky find right place right time spose, it was missing its saddles off the bridge and the nut off the output jack but otherwise ok soundwise its like a precision sounds good its well made no thrills but would be a good gigging bass its solid ,only downside is a bit of neckdive heres mine:[attachment=23777:DSCF3058.JPG]

    i have had an eb3 which did suffer from neck dive sounded good though and also a victory which was pretty punchy but i sold both i just prefer precisions for versatility
  22. i just got one of these in my loca charity shop for £20 couldnt believe my luck h strung it up today and must say i really like it very good build quality

  24. i sold you the bass you came and collected it from basingstoke and i had previously bought it from ebay although im sure the seller actually lived in the same region as mansons guitar shop,glad you have restored it looks brilliant that was my original plan but i think i still have guitars lying around i intended to restore lol good job looks brilliant
