1. This must surely be very rare... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Musicman-Stingray-bass-Left-Handed-/221710168244
 2.
I get how some folk will cycle through a large number of instruments trying different things.... I've done it myself in the past... I don't get how you might order a custom bass, wait months for it to be built and then stick it on ebay a year later - but I guess it keeps the builders in business....
Getting a custom made is a tricky business in my experience. Even if you opt for all the specs you think will work or you think you'll like, it's not a precise science, and what looks great on paper doesn't always work - it's nobody's fault, it just might not turn out as you hope it will. I've done it twice in the past, and it wasn't a success on either occassion, but I'm about to do it again...
 3. Not inexpensive, but this must surely be very rare! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Musicman-Stingray-bass-Left-Handed-/221710168244
 4. Another 'reluctant sale'... loads of high-end stuff floating about at the moment... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sei-Jazz-Bass-6-String-/261799656581
 5. That looks like an awful lot of bass for the money! GLWTS.
 6. PM'd you a couple of days ago. Is the bass still for sale? Thanks.
 7. I realise I've left it a bit late, but there's no answer from the organiser's phone no - any idea what price under 14's admission is??
 8. Denis bought my SKC Bogart, and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Great communication, immediate payment, a really friendly guy to deal with. Buy/sell/trade with confidence.
 9.
I really like that
I'm only down the road, Gareth... come over and try it - you know you want to! Kettle's on.
 10. Had a go on it yesterday - a very lovely thing, plays beautifully and sounds great! Somebody needs to snap this up...
 11. A sunburst one of these was my main bass for several years back in the 80's - great instruments. GLWTS!
 12. Fantastic bass, fantastic price, especially with the John East too! I have a Skyline DJ5 with a J Retro, and it's every bit as good as any USA Lakland I've played, and I've owned a few... Good luck with the sale.
 13. Lovely. Let me know if you're ever down Woking way, I'd love to try it!
 14.
Trade for a CV 60s P?
Sorry, I'm not looking for any trades.
 15. Updated details bump...
 16.
What's the weight please?
9 lbs, and sits well on a strap.
 17.
Want this! Got a Peavey GV in red sparkle and this would be an ace addition. Gutted I'm skint
They certainly would look great together. Make me an offer - I can only say no!
 18. For sale is a SKC Bogart graphite headless 5-string, in beautiful condition. Made in the early 90's, it's one of only a very few 36" scale basses made by them. It's light, compact and exceedingly well balanced, and fitted with a 9v Noll 2-band preamp and Bartolini pickups. Controls are volume (a push/pull pot for active/passive mode) pickup pan, and stacked treble and bass cut/boost. The woven carbon graphite neck, composite body and extended scale give the bass a wonderfully clear, concise voice, and it's fantastic to play. It's just been fitted with a fresh battery and a new set of D'Addario EXL170-5's. - blackstone body (composite material) - woven graphite neck - phenowood fingerboard w/ zero fret - Bartolini hum cancelling single coil pickups - Schaller straplocks - weight: 3.9kg - string spacing at bridge: 18.3mm / 0.72 inches I bought this bass quite recently from another BC'er, but something else has caught my eye, so unfortunately I have to 'rationalise' my little collection. I'm only asking what I paid for it, and it comes with a Fender guitar gigbag, which it fits comfortably. The price includes shipping within the UK, or you're welcome to collect (near to junction 10 of the M25) . Sorry, but I'm not looking for any trades. NOW SOLD pending payment.
 19. Up for sale is my Yamaha BB615 5-string lined fretless, which started life fretted, and was converted by The Gallery in Camden. It's a lovely bass to play and sounds great, but I just don't play fretless much, or very well for that matter, so it needs to move on to pastures new! 3-band EQ, currently fitted with medium Thomastik flats. It has a couple of small marks on the back of the neck, and a bit of a gouge in the underside of the headstock, both courtesy of its original owner, but neither has any effect on the playability. 20. For sale is a very funky Peavey USA Millennium 5, not to be confused with their Indonesian budget range. A lovely and quite rare thing, and only bought from fellow BC'er finkle at the end of last year, but something almost as shiny has caught my eye, so sadly I have to 'rationalise' my little collection. Complete with fresh batteries and new set of D'Addario EXL170-5s, and a sturdy Peavey fitted case. USA made, specs as follows:

Eastern Maple satin finish neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard (15" radius) and graphite reinforcement
35" scale with 21 frets
Alder body
1 x MM style and 1 x Jazz Peavey VFL active pickups
Active 18v 3 band preamp with mid sweep control
Hipshot low mass tuners
Quadra-Just Hipshot bridge with 3 way adjustable saddles
Truss rod adjustable by wheel - as for EBMM basses - no allen keys needed
Through bridge and through body stringing
Graphtech Tusq nut
Schaller Straplocks
17.5mm string spacing (adjustable)
Nut width 1.82" at nut (45.72mm), coming out to 62.21mm at 12th fret, and 68.36mm at 21st fret
Nut depth 20.37mm at 1st fret, depth coming out to 22.19mm at 12th fret
Weight 9 lbs
NOW TRADED
 21. I'd like to know what happened to the rest of the old bike he used to make this...
 22. Everything looks better in a rural setting. Except that.
 23. Now that's thorough. I particularly like the bit of duster fluff caught on the tuner screw head in picture #5...
