Back in the late 90's I used to dep with a band who had no backline, an electronic kit, and everything in-ear. Cutting edge at the time, but for me, it was a soulless and gutless experience, despite their big Turbo Sound rig front of house. I would imagine, even with improvements in audio technology since then, it would be the same for the audience. The ambience created by a live show would be utterly lost.

Actually, I think this might be a bit of a bargain. My missus went to a spa for a [color=#000000]full professional setup, with deep body cleansing, body polish and carnauba wax, neck deep clean, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment[/color], and it cost a LOT more than £45...

Rick Astley. Saw him at a festival last year - great voice, excellent stage presence, very funny, and a cracking backing band to boot. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and I really didn't expect to....

I know this product probably doesn't exist, but does anyone manufacture a wireless setup that sends two separate signals - guitar/bass to the amp, and in-ear from the receiver back to the same belt pack, all in one?

Precious few mentions of 'Black Sea'... an album I can listen to endlessly. Apple Venus, Wasp Star, Drums & Wires, Go 2 are all brilliant as well. English Settlement doesn't do it for me however, apart from the wonderful 'Senses Working Overtime'. Nonsuch is worth it for 'The Disappointed' on its own, as is Skylarking for 'Earn Enough For Us'. If I feel a little uninspired, I just have to listen to the bass line on "I'd Like That' from Apple Venus to perk myself up. The man's a genius.

It should be - it's in the picture! Mind you, the guitar has no 'E' string, so perhaps it's a diversion tactic...

What a beast! I bet it weighs a ton, but it's still a great looking bass...
