2.
Whats your budget ?
Please PM me
3. Hi guys, My band was supposed to play a friends wedding in London but our guitar player won't make it and there's no time to find a dep. So we'll need a band (London based) that plays rock music with the odd pop and funk or disco song added to the set list. Please call contact me asap.
4.
It now come with a serial n°, and so should no longer have the time limitation. I tried it out, but would use it for more than 30 minutes in any case; I far prefer my Amplitube Hiwatt sim (well, they call it HiAmp, but whatever...) for bass. I found the GK to be, in general, excessively muddy, and the tone controls particularly ineffective. I'll try again another day when I have another bass line to create, so all is not lost (but the Hiwatt is very good indeed, so... ).
Try the last plugin I posted that one is particularly good, another one to look is the Ignite Amps SHB-1 that one is good
5.
Freebie GK amp sim here: http://www.pluginbou...m/products/2266 Not a bad sounding little plug in.
I used the first one they released and didn't like the fact that even though it was free it would stop working after 30 mins. I hope they had changed this. Will try it as I liked the first one, it sounded great.
6. Fantastic show and if you haven't seen it yet check out the Grace Potter session https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt5rKGsMKyM And my total favourite session has to be Todd Rundgen's a lot to love there specially these two songs: Sweet - just sublime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dlmlNgrXSQ Want of a nail - the epitome of a band cooking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMSBIoehD70
7. Nice that's a proper shed!! Lovely playing
8. If you're bored with your bass tones and are looking for something new and FREE, check this one out! it's maybe my absolute favourite bass amp plugin. Check out the demo song for a better reference. Download Free Bass tube amp plug-in: Vee Bass Amp by Viper ITB
9. Bought an item from him and I couldn't be happier with the communication and how helpful he was. Top bloke to deal with.
10. You should be fine as there's a lot of developing been done. Do not be surprised if you plug it and just works and don't be surprised too if when plugged it comes as some generic USB name.
11. One of these will solve your problem, it costs like £30
12. Dude mastering is the easy part of the process, it shouldn't take you more than 15 mins if you have the right plugins. Check out Graham Cochrane's video on how to master in 10 mins it's great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0Jx2h-lQkA
13. I think you can tell the midi device where your middle C will be, this is in the Midi device setup in any DAW. I've had the same issues. BTW is you want to change drum kits, you can record using Power Drumkit (I do the same) and then you can change the drumkit plugin. Sometimes I use "Big Mono" through Kontact (it runs for 30 mins on the free player) and Drumic'a works very well too.
14. That was the last good one they build before they changed the circuit which is now terrible.
15. I think I have one of those black boxes (potted in red wax if I'm not mistaken) kicking around. I could look in my spare parts box if you are interested. I don't think I'll use it as I sold my pickups. I'm sure I even have the pots too.
16. A fantastic amp at a fantastic price, I got the 450 version and it is loud and the tone can be anything between clean to super deep. Not heavy and easy to carry. What else to ask for an amp? good luck with your sale mate.
17. Is this £15 individually or for the pair?
18. Here is my contribution to this thread: - MT PowerDrumkit 2: This is a free drum kit and like EZ Drums it has free drum samples, it can be loaded into a bus too. It's free to use but you'll have to skip the nag page every time you load your daw but if you contribute with let's say £5 it'll remove the nag page. http://www.powerdrumkit.com/ - Sennheiser Drumic'a: This is free drum kit that uses Kontakt, this won't stop after 15 mins like most free Kontakt libraries. It is a whopping 9gb but sounds great and you can select among 3 mics to tailor your sound. Can be bussed too. Website is in German so you'll need Google Translate, just register to receive your activation code. http://de-de.sennheiser.com/drummica - Ample Guitar M Lite II: This is an Acoustic guitar plugin, this thing sounds like the real deal, just check the samples. It has picking option and strumming option. just download and use it for free no questions asked. http://www.amplesound.net/en/pro-pd.asp?id=7
19. I'm too venturing into the world of recording, here's what I'm using so far: Audio Interfaces: - Digibox m2 mini - Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 (These are about £30 from Thomann and they sound very good. Don't let the brand name fool you ) Keyboard - Arturia Minilab (25 keys) DAW: - Reaper - Tracktion 5 (This is a fully featured DAW and totally free, not as fancy looking like the other but it's great) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXE9PJeQrSQ&list=PLGhDPxpNTpsrcpwBGYDYUNxtPy8-TaBtb Drums: - MT Power Drumkit 2 (The demo version comes with a free drum kit and lots of drum samples) http://www.powerdrumkit.com/ If you are interested in recording drums you can always use an electronic drum kit to trigger the drums. I hope this helps.
20. I'll take second dips if Andy_L doesn't buy it
21.
Suppose the best guitarist also has a huge ego and is difficult to work with. These types can hold back band progress.. The adequate guitarist with a great positive attitude and understands how to work with people and be in a band is the better choice. IMO A person everyone likes to be around. Blue
Blue is correct, as usual, his wisdom is infallible
22. I have the big brother BX500 head and using a 2x10 cab I haven't been able to go more than 9 o'clock without my guitar player complaining and that's in a gig. Those amps are extremely loud and their sound is nothing less than fantastic. I'm sure it'll be able to cope with any band.
23. I would recommend reading through this Talkbass thread, there is great information in it. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/behringer-bass-v-amp-pro.687422/
