I think you need a TRS adaptor, as the output from the amp will be mono not stereo ie Tip (+) and ring (-) Both those cables you have pictured are stereo cables, something like tip (left channel) ring (right Channel) ring (earth/return) Although your headphones may be stereo I'm pretty certain the output from the amp wont be. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/C2G-3-5mm-Stereo-Female-Adapter-Silver/dp/B002DWAXKU/ref=sr_1_19?keywords=stereo+mono+adapter+3.5mm&qid=1577384784&sr=8-19 Something like this in your amp, the plug one of your pictured cables into that, and other stereo end into headphones, should sort it!

I used to have schallers until I decided that 1 bass 1 strap was a good option, Fender rubber washers for me now, which are excellent. I always found the schallers to be ok, but they rattled which was really annoying, plus the fact the screws used to work loose.

TH500 and a Reidmar.......both sound fantastic to me!

Well that's a bugger, apologies if I led you astray there. I cant say I've ever noticed the noise you refer to, but then again I don't like bright strings so maybe that's why I can't hear it.

The UK Pink Floyd Experience on Sat, tickets bought by my daughter for our wedding anniversary, so had not heard of these guys and didn't know what to expect. I have to say they absolutely nailed the sound and visuals of Pink Floyd, even using what looked like the actual video reels and projection screen from the later Floyd tours. I was a tad disappointed with the lead guitarist who flubbed a line in Money, but found out later in the evening that he had only been with the band for 3 weeks and had learned the whole 2.5 hour set in that time....Impressed I was! 20191109_212043.mp4
