Our drummer knows Pino quite well and has played with him a few times. He told me that recently Pino couldn't make a rehearsal due to a gig commitment (I can't remember what bands were involved sorry!) and they got MARCUS MILLER to cover for him IN A REHEARSAL!
Played at Watusi festival in South Wales. Pretty tricky as there were no monitors working on our stage and we didn't have the sense to all just turn down to a more acoustic level, however funked on through with a couple of f*ck ups due to not hearing each other and we covered them up nicely. The audience loved us and a lot of the other bands who we really admire checked out our set and had good things to say.
After that, it was 2 days of band carnage!
I wore baggy lightweight trousers for a gig once and a wasp flew up there during the second song - I didn't get stung but I did invent about 8 new dance styles in less than 3 minutes!
I should've taken a lesson from Rawlinson End and worn bicycle clips
Musicguard Insurance covers your gear in the house, at gigs, in a vehicle and also includes £5m of public liability - very useful!
The only downside is that when you add new items/remove them it costs £7 quid a time which can add up to a lot if you're selling/buying gear as much as most basschat members.....
I fall into the loud, jolly, "fancy a deal and how's-yer-father" school and often forget that not everybody's the same.
You offer sex as part of the deal? Does that work?
Wedding gig last night with a brazilian jazz guitarist depping for our usual guy who was at a festival. Worked out really well and the new jazzier sound suited the occasion.
Had to play 'I know you got soul' for about 20 mins as there was an IMMENSE soul train going on and they would have murdered us if we'd stopped!
First gig for the new funk band - at a party in a mansion in Wiltshire! Went amazingly well, had to extend move on up to a 25 min version and a couple of others too as people wouldn't let us stop!
Ended up 'borrowing' a boat and watching the sun come up on the local lake - good times!
Niiiiice!
If I hadn't had to pay a £1000 bill ( ) bill last week, I'd be making an offer!
Good luck.
Edit: I've never seen a Westone hard case like that before either.

Which is why I put this up 2 or 3 pages ago and beat you to it!
EDIT: It was on the last page and you commented on it you crazy fool!
But it is good enough to put up 2, or 3 or 4 or 5 times!
