1. Love Free, thanks for posting. Heard them described recently as Plod Rock Kos would have been 65 today.
2.
Very good Gary! But which one?
My anorak tendencies are not that finally honed I'm afraid
3.
Excuse my ignorance, but is that some form of Ibanez Dave is playing? If so, which one? D'oh! Question already asked!
Just had a look at another one of Fran's pics and can confirm it is an Ibanez.
4. Some great pics in there Fran. Was that one of Dave's Ibanez basses?
5. Bump .
6. Once you hit that first note (so long as it's the right one) the nerves will evaporate Enjoy.
7. RIP
8. yes it's still here and available
9. Congrats, have a splendid day, go buy some more gear.
10. Time for another
11. My experience of those Vintage P basses has been good, I feel that for the price they are a worthwhile purchase. with £500 to spend though, you should certainly be able to get something better, particularly second hand. I would be looking at the basses for sale forum here.
12. It's more collectible, which obviously equals more costly Is it worth it? Well it's not going to be twice as good but if you get a good 60's one, they are very special. My one gives me a very pleasurable feeling each and every time I open the case. So does my 75 though
13.
Brilliant basses, passive but powerful GLWS bump
Thanks Gareth. Yes very powerful, whenever I gig with other basses I have to turn my amp up so much more to achieve the same sort of volume and even then don't seem to get the same sort of oomph
14. Nice one Nick, that is a fine looking thing.
15. Don't know I'm afraid. Details might be on their spec page on the Dingwall site http://www.dingwallguitars.com/basses/bass-specifications/
16. Very lovely
17. Bumped again
18. Fishing Tackle shops sell some decent ones. I've got one produced by Fox, battery powered LED's and a good durable clip.
19.
Here is one of my gig rigs! Recently got the 2x12 to go with the 15" cab have had a few years! Great rig. I have had lots of different cabs amps over the years but always seem to go back to the EBS stuff. Still have my TD650. Incredibly clean gear. And it can go pretty dirty if needed! Sounds lovely with the V6! Will still keep changing things about! GAS is the problem ! Haha!
Impressive, you could unleash an avalanche in the valleys with that little lot.
20.
I'm unlikely to use them for gigs as they don't have enough guts for hard rock that my higher end stuff has. Anyway I normally need 5 strings.
I gigged one last year, now admittedly not in a hard rock band but I was impressed with the oomph factor. I plugged in to an MXR M80 pedal and then in to my Shuttle 6. Honestly it was awesomely loud and very comfortable for a three set gig. Why did I sell it
21. Really looking forward to seeing this Si. I've been so impressed with the ones I've seen on here, WOT's one looks so lovely. Think I would do the same as you concerning the logo.
22. Another bump for my rather fetching G&L
