1. Nice one Nick, that is a fine looking thing.
2. Don't know I'm afraid. Details might be on their spec page on the Dingwall site http://www.dingwallguitars.com/basses/bass-specifications/
3. Very lovely
4. Bumped again
5. Fishing Tackle shops sell some decent ones. I've got one produced by Fox, battery powered LED's and a good durable clip.
6.
Here is one of my gig rigs! Recently got the 2x12 to go with the 15" cab have had a few years! Great rig. I have had lots of different cabs amps over the years but always seem to go back to the EBS stuff. Still have my TD650. Incredibly clean gear. And it can go pretty dirty if needed! Sounds lovely with the V6! Will still keep changing things about! GAS is the problem ! Haha!
Impressive, you could unleash an avalanche in the valleys with that little lot.
7.
I'm unlikely to use them for gigs as they don't have enough guts for hard rock that my higher end stuff has. Anyway I normally need 5 strings.
I gigged one last year, now admittedly not in a hard rock band but I was impressed with the oomph factor. I plugged in to an MXR M80 pedal and then in to my Shuttle 6. Honestly it was awesomely loud and very comfortable for a three set gig. Why did I sell it
8. Really looking forward to seeing this Si. I've been so impressed with the ones I've seen on here, WOT's one looks so lovely. Think I would do the same as you concerning the logo.
9. Another bump for my rather fetching G&L
10.
You miss the point - Why can't I ask a group of bassists, many of whom gig in cover bands at the weekend in the local pub, why they choose to use more expensive equipment at these gigs when cheap equipment would generally suffice?
I'm a regular pub band gigger, I use more expensive gear at these gigs because I can. If all I could afford was cheap gear, then that is what I would be using.
11. I'm only reading this thread because I have an hour to kill before I can have my meds
12. Love that 72.
13. That looks so rock Congrats on having a forgiving wife, I too am lucky in this department.
14. Another bump for this fine bass.
15.
I know it's already been asked, but amazingly it is still here! Would you consider a trade with a passive ACG Jazz? It's a 5'er.
Sorry Bloc Riff Nut, not looking for trades thanks. For the record BC'ers, offers of trades, price discussions etc. on sales threads, must be done via pm.
16. The first bump of September. Really thought this would have been snapped up by now
17. I find 500 miles totally groan inducing but the punters seem to love it.
18. I don't know if I've nailed the tone Alex but I do know that each time we play it, the dance floor fills up. Played it on Sunday, using my 60's P, sounded lush to me and none of the punters berated me for not having the tone Sorry mate, no help at all, I'm sure someone who is more up on effects and so on, will be along soon.
19. This is the one that I use and recommend. http://www.stringsdi...sR-gxoCG4bw_wcB Not a cheapie I suppose but they do come up on here and Ebay sometimes.
20. Very happy to recommend Martin as one of the good chaps to deal with. No messing about, good comms and immediate payment.
21. End of August bump, yes it is still available.
22. and another bump, the last one for August
23. They represent great value and with £50 be daft not to.
24. When I had a few years off, upon my return I could recall the tunes, scales etc. without too much trouble but for a while just too rusty to execute them properly. It soon comes back though, sore fingers maybe for a few days and then it will feel like you've never been away. Now then Bob, don't let it happen again
