1. Not surprised you've pulled the Hungarian upright. Possibly the prettiest thing I've ever seen (I don't have a gf, I don't need to lie ). I've pushed my luck too far, and have now saved those pic's to the PC, just in case I have another stable and wealthy fantasy. Best of luck with the selling, Mike.
2. I'd just stick your link in thusly: http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/c...div/d112xlt.asp Or for 'cab specifications' link:
cab specifications
paul.
3. lovels. That body is gorgeous! Really suits the hs too. n1, MD.
4. I love these basses, although I'm with Jono on preferring brown. Let us know if you ever do any soundclips. Of course you ought to have done to compare bridges One of my top BC envies.
5. Welcome to the forum, James. No need to apologise for the lengthy intro. "Getting to know you" no more,, The King And I®

Hi

Welcome to't forum, Inca. Defo some Daisy Rock love here.
7.
Not me... I'm a nitpicky git. Every bass I own, I really really like. However I can point out flaws in each one. But I guess nothing's perfect.
I don't think I could really love a bass if it didn't have "character". I'm hoping to get a Stagg upright; I'm already scheming ways to make it more my own.
8. it's for sale. Sexy ebay pics, John. You ought to get quite a bit for it considering how much one tort' pic guard is worth best of luck!
9. Hmm, I think it should be Fender's responsibility to make something this important clearer. I had a '62 RI and the neck was horrible, you could really see where they got the 'U' shape from. I likened it to the underside of a jaffa cake. The neck was very uncomfortable to play, and anything that filled my hand up more (depth), I found far more comfortable. I can only agree with most of the comments above and hope that someone can put forward info or find a reliable source with certainty.
10. Aye, it's been spotted. Not as nice as the one you had, though. And a bit worrying considering the short duration of ownership. I'm really not shopping. I must extinguish gas some other way. Cheers for taking the time to link. --- That Tokyo seller has put up a Aria ProII P for bids, with a low starting price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Aria-Pro-II-Primary-...emZ320241063888 Made in the same place, perhaps : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Greco-Mercury-Bass-N...emZ320241872196
11. That looks so good. And this thread is still cosy. hot chocolate and e-cookies anyone?
12. Looking forward to this. A PM would be super, just in case I miss it.
13. For anyone who's unsure/distrustful of the Burgundy mist; I can assure, it is the coolest things live and in the flesh, strapped to a bass player. Sexy gear.
14. This is something that very much interests me. I have relayed to others, on World Jazz, the St. Louis one, the children follow a sax player whilst beating pots, pans, and boxes in time. What a wonderful way to learn and develop rhythm. Likewise, obtaining a good ear/pitch and vocal strength in choir. There must be a study on child music development out there that explains how some people develop into having perfect pitch/good sense of rhythm. I'm a 10/90 - nature/nurture guy.
15. I love that! I've saved that pic to't pc.
16. Was certain I had replied to this, but, anyway: jolly glad you're here, Ray!
17.
Worry not.. I got mine for a very competetive price! I have to say, though... I'm tempted by that 15...
OT: Gorgeous avatar, WoT
18. *ears perk up* Anywhere I can hear one of these Roscoe Becks? nie mind: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender_Roscoe_Beck_Bass http://youtube.com/watch?v=zJrJu1Frh6Y&feature=related
19. I assume Jono is double checking because there are normally additional costs to pay once the gear is in the UK. Well done to Carvin if they've sorted this out themselves. Your Carvin kit is cool. Looking forward to seeing how this goes, Mark. Any plans for the headstock (decal)? I've had a custom one made in the past.

Hi All

That's quite true, except ukuleles will be relatively tiny compared to our giant like future forms. We will have evolved from being able to hear high-pitched instruments; with only primal women and obnoxious house-pets hearing those Hawaiian hip-shaking tones.
21. I'm not bowled-over by the t-shirt, but the thread's subtitle has won my heart.
