1.
I have got a guitar effects VST and I'm gonna use it ! I have more guitar and bass effects, amps and knobs to twiddle that I know what to do with , but hey, expect some, loudly, this month
I'm only now, shaking off your entry from last month.
 2.
Well, I hope they weren't 4 hour gigs. Blue
Thank you Blue for taking my jibe in good spirit as it was intended. You are a good sport.
 3.
Ok thanks, might let it go for £10,000,000 🎶
Oi Oi ..... Not so fast....... There's rules around here. You'll have to list it in the basses for sale thread first and pay your £20 listing fee. The lengths some people will go to...........
 4.
You had 3 paying gigs in one weekend, that's fantastic! I personally love 3 gig weekends, we had one a few weeks ago. There are guys here on bass chat that won't see 3 gigs over the next 6 months. Blue
Sorry blue but all three gigs were done for free from a hobby point of view. In fact all three venues were called in advance with offers of free gigs if they cancelled the prebooked working bands. Al three working bands are sending their kids back to school this week with Last years shoes on. How do you feel about that?
 5.
If you meet me , I am tall , slim but solid, clean shaven and devilishly good looking ........... honest ...... , thanks for the vote , and don't forget .. one on top of the other
I woke up singing it today.
 6. Voted..... Mr Lurksalot has ruined my life. I can't stop singing his song and although I would probably chuck a brick at him if I met him he still deserved a vote. I can't say I liked them all, however, they were all well put together. Excellent piece by mr lowdown also, well done to all and hopefully I'll put an entry in next month.
 7.
Jon any ideas about what sort of price they go for ? ( but its a keeper)
I would value it in its current condition....... Somewhere in the region of £10,000,000. Are you sure you wouldn't part with it? Seriously though, a bass like this would be impossible to value accurately. I wouldn't say it's worth a lot though.
 8.
Apogee have already said that they will no longer be supporting their FireWire interfaces, in light of the protocol being depreciated by Apple. Therefor an Apogee interface is fine so long as it works with you current system and you have no desire to upgrade your OS until you are ready to buy an new audio interface. It's a pity because in all other respects Apogee are very good.
Wow. I didn't know that.
 9.
Any love for Something Happens? "Stuck Together With God's Glue" is a superb album.
Yes there is!!!!!!! Lots of love. How could I possibly forget so much of my youth. Amazing album. Thank you. Keep em coming.
 10. I have a strong idea bouncing around my head. Not sure I'll get the time to release it. Would really love to get back into this, however I'm really busy with work and home right now.
 11. You can pick up an Old apogee duet on eBay for about £100 or less. The grey first edition FireWire version. Great buy. Highly recommend it.
 12. Downloaded. First chapter read. Loving it!!!!!!!!
 13.
You're not listening to it anywhere loud enough
I will crank it up and get back to you.
 14. I always find it difficult to relate to this style of music. There's very little tangible about it, nothing you can get a hook into. I wouldn't quite describe it as background ....but it's definitely "non involvement" music. That said it is excellent to have on if you're trying to study or read.
 15.
Nice! Blue
Yes..... Sevenoaks is lovely this time of year.
 16.
An ex's uncle made a good living on the Northern club scene in the 60's. He was primarily a joke and song man, but very accomplished on the keys, although didn't get the breaks to move into TV. Anyhoo, he knew Ringo Starr from his club days before the Beatles. He said Ringo was an excellent drummer and couldn't understand why he came in for so much flak.
Ringo is an excellent drummer, I think the "thing" about him being crap was a wind up started by the two smart Arse pricks Lennon and McCartney.
 17.
Neck in one case, body in another
This is proven and tested method. You can also say you brought it out that way. Post receipt home before travel.
 18. "Woke up this morning, and I got myself a........" That's all I can come up with.
 19. Sold my body to Tom lately. He was very gentle.
 20.
Am I the first? Here's my bagpipe based opus, featuring the talents of fellow Weed and Guitar Hero, John Sullivan. Donald Where's Your Troosers
I might add, it's not very Zen. However I like it nonetheless.

 22.
Yep, the first I think I'm struggling to find some time this month. I've got a skeleton down but it need a fair bit of work. I'll do my best to get something out though.
Sitting back living off the spoils of last months success. Laziness always follows success.
