1.
Its the Custom
Sweet lord... I shall be keeping an eye out if you do decide to sell
2. ..... What finish is it? Apologies I Don't mean to derail your NBD Thread,
3. Niceee, HNBD! I hope the ZZB won't feel lonely after this
4.
And I thought I could be nippy!
Aye maybe that came off harsh a bit much, Apologies to the other guy. True I know a 1k+ bass shouldn't have dodgy knobs!
5.
It's a nice little shop but I would say the stock is a bit overpriced. Tried those D Lakin basses a while ago and one of the control knobs came straight off...
So try one bass, one problem with THAT bass, EVERYTHING'S Overpriced? Seems fair.
6. Sorry to bump an old thread, but just incase, is this still available?
7. Hmmm maybe I should record "I'm buying THAT dingwall" and have it ready to put on repeat on my phone speaker.
8. Just after a straight sale on this? Hope no problem asking.
9. Just recently moved into the same area for work, so hearing there's an abundance of rock cover bands is rather nice personally haha. As the others said there's other places near enough, I was surprised how quick going back to peterborough was to pick up some more items from parents house. Good luck with your search, pity we're both bassists, ha.
10.
Many thanks, look forward to hearing from you. I do however have to disagree with the above, the neck is quartersawn AAA birds-eye maple, the light oil finish is so light that you can barely tell it's there when you play the neck but you know it's there to protect it, the board is a stunning and think slice of ebony, and the lines and blocks are so very very well done. This is WAY WAY WAY better than American Fender quality All joking aside, it is at the very least the match for most Fender Custom Shop necks I've played (and there've been a few! Chris
Haha, True very true, I however have never played a custom shop neck so I wasn't going to say so personally, But you're right
11. Nice okay thanks, I may well PM you if this isn't gone before funds are raised. For anyone else looking, I can attest to how good warmoth parts are, the neck on this will be as good, if not better than American Fender Quality.
12. Bump, Willing to think about sensible offers, and P/X for Actives, Fretless etc preferably if it's bass and cash my way.
13. Five at the moment, American P, MM Copy, Jazz Kit build, Warmoth 5 stringer and Aria ZZB. Currently going to operate a one in one out etc policy to keep it limited to five. If I get a yes on a P/X Offer then the Fender will be replaced by another Aria Pro II. Hoping to consolidate alot of them into the funds for a dingwall mind you.
14. I Completely didn't notice I didn't write the price anywhere on the Ad BUMP £750 by the way.
15. Anything you might be interested in for trades? Or just straight sale for this? Thanks,
16. When you've written your first ad, it'll come up when you try to submit it. with a link to pay with paypal.
17. I guess Drunk Rugby Fans = Profit and that's all that landlady cares about, instead of credibility with bookings etc
18. A Dingwall, Greenboy and Currently Unknown Amp, Likely Carvin. Now either the Ultimate G.A.S , or the fill in G.A.S Option which is all three for the same price as a Z3 coming to bass direct...
19. Very nice, HNBD! Since finding out about Greenboy, and consequently Dingwall i've been keeping an eye on Bass Directs stock of them. They have a very special looking Z3 coming in sometime soon which I'm attempting to shift all but one of my current herd and various other items to be able to afford. Nice to know that only trying the fanned frets seems to be enough to realize there's very little difference when playing. And their range of purple finishes i've not seen any others offer.
20.
The serial number will help you out here; Z (2000) + next digit = year of manufacture so Z8 = 2008. Lovely colour. I had a Candy Cola American Series P with the S1 system. Lovely instrument. GLWTS.
Ah Thank you , I posted in a rush, Just checked and I Can Confirm it's a 2007 Model then .
21. Selling this to make room for a hopeful Dingwall, So here's some specs:

Maple/Maple Neck
2007 Model
S1 Switching System
Candy Cola (Discontinued from what I can tell)
Electrics are all original as is Pick-up.
Very minimal wear and tear, a few small dings on the neck mainly but only noticeable upclose.
Very little fretwear due to not being used as much as it should.
I'm not sure of the age of it, but it's a couple of years old, I believe it was a year or two before they stopped the S1 Switching System. So I think Possibly 2007/2008 Comes with Hardcase and Fender Strap, None of the Case Candy due to it being misplaced over the past few years. Prefer Collection or Meet Halfway up to a sensible Distance. Buyer can organize courier if in UK, and I'll have it wrapped up in the hard case ready for collection. Looking for £750, Apologies I thought i'd written a price when I first wrote the ad , Also Open to Near offers at this point so PM with them. I might possibly entertain trades, A Ernie Ball MM (Black Red or Purple), Active basses mainly but shoot me a message with offers and see if I'll bite. Unfortunately It'd have to be a straight swap or some cash my way with the bass due to lack of funds. Else I'd Put it up for P/X for a Dingwall alas I can't fork up the extra cash that would require. Any Questions feel free to ask If I can around work schedule I'll try to get some Daylight pictures if asked for.
