Nice set up there. Tried hooking your 8x10 to it as well???
4.
Whay mate?
Its in great nick, at a great price. Me wanty, but no dollar.
5. Ive got to stop looking at this
6. Music shops must shudder when they pick the phone up and your on the end saying "I want to buy a bass" That's really bad luck AGAIN! I think it drives home the point try before you buy. If i was buying a bass at these sort of prices i'd do my damnedest to drive/hop on a train to the shop and check it out before I parted with anything. What's the price of a train ticket compared to this hassle?
7. Great gig last night in The Old George in South Cerney. The last night of the 3 day M4 Festival for charity. Saw some great bands and Glen Matlock was on stage to do set after us and said "that Operation 77 ain't half bad" It's a new band for me, a mix of my old band and another we had had three rehearsals and went for it, and it worked out ok. Looking forward to many more fun gigs
8.
and I hate the fact that when you walk down the street (especially when its busy) you see the odd smoker holding their cigarette away from them but towards oncoming people.
What, like this?
9. P Bass into OTB into 8x10?? That'll sound great, nice buys Wayne
10. Well I have not seen many of those around. Congratulations. Think you should get it sprayed black tho
11.
Very quick audio of my P with flats using the P Retro. I recorded this using my new Zoom Q3HD on audio only and mistakenly had it set on auto, which means the levels jump a bit, but hopefully it'll give you an idea. http://soundcloud.co...lats-and-east-p
Thank you very much. Am now looking forward to getting one of those.
12. As the title, anyone tried this? Am very close to getting P Retro and wondered if it would be of any benefit.
13. Keep us posted
14. Is it here yet, getting very excited now
15. How about the Genz Shuttle 9.2 Max? Tube/FET switchable preamps. Would work a treat with the Barefaced S12T.
16. To keep everyone entertained while we wait. Look, this drummer is at the wrong gig!!!!! Enjoy
17. Why do my legs look really small?
18.
Don't worry about what it says on the label or where they're made - just get & play it - if it feels right, looks right & sounds right to you - then it's all good
This is where it's at! My Roger Waters sig is a MIM and its been my go to bass since I got it, my CIJ has not had a look in, a little tweak to get it how I like it, and it's just right for me.
19. Its still a great word to say though... Bubinga, Bubinga.
20. I'm going, looking forward to it.
21. Another hi from Swindon. Good to have you a aboard.
22. I'm still loving mine. Such a cracking little amp.
23. Forum rules state that you need to name a price for this
24. I'm running a Dubster and I could not be happier, it's scary loud and scary light and properly braced inside. The trial period Alex runs is a great idea as you are encouraged to use the cab/cabs in a live situation and as we know, this is the best way to decide if its right for you.
25.
Poss because they like the classic design look, but prefer a preamp sound.. .... The American standards are nice though..
Plus you switch between passive and active. Best of both worlds.
