1. What about that GK MB200?
 2.
1. It is. 2. Adore it - best amp I've owned in living memory... does clean and tubey very, very well. And the thump... oooooh. 3. At 900w I imagine it'll be fine, but you're looking at PA support for that sort of thing...
Yes, yes ,yes. At home it feels like every time I walk past the amp I have to pick a bass up, plug it in, and have a quick noodle. This little thing really makes me smile
 3.
It's a beautiful thing, isn't it?
It sure is!
 4. Wow. Had my first gig with the Streamliner last night. This thing is fantastic. So much thump

 7.
I have full confidence that if one of the neo drivers in one of my Bergantino cabs failed that Bergantino would sort me out.
I'll second that.
 8.
Maybe BC could do those rubber wrist bands (like the lance armstrong Livestrong ones) and only sell to BCers with any profit going to charity?
Good idea
 9.
You can spot a Basschatter easy....they have often have a dfferent bass/rig every gig (haha like me) -damn GAS
12. Hi all I am putting up for sale my Markbass SD1200. It's box fresh and has been in a rack case all its short life. Those who have dealt with me know I am a tart when it comes to looking after my gear. Comes with the original box, packing and manual. Weighs 7.5lbs. 1200W RMS @ 4 ohm. 750W RMS @ 8 ohm. Semi Parametric Low and High Mids. The usual and very useful Markbass VLE and VPF Filters. Have been able to get a very wide range of sounds from dubby right through to zingy. I favour dubby It has not been heavily gigged as I also use a LM111. Can deliver/meet within 50 miles of Swindon, or will post if buyer arranges the courier. Cheapest I could find new was £940ish so will sell for [s]£750[/s]. £725 Thanks for looking here are some pics. Raggy
 13. Just got back from collecting mine from Mark at Bass Direct (I bloody loves that place I does). First impressions - Very happy with it. As warickhunt mentioned above there is a real authority about it. Set flat it sounds very good, very 'wide', that mid frequency selecter will come in handy at a gig going from a sharp punk tone to a ska/reggae tone. I'm not going to really know until I gig it, but lets just say I am quietly confident While I was there I umm, accidently, kind of put deposit down on a Berg AE 2x12, that little cab is a bluddy monsta

 15.
Do you still make the Vintage?
I dont think he does now, there is a super fifteen, not sure what the difference is. Wayne, have you tried a TC450? They are not to everyones taste. I thought they were a bit muffled.
 16. Tried one out a few months ago. Really impressed. It had that 'typical' GK sound (which I like) with a really powerful strong low end. There are a couple of BC'ers on here who have one, cant remember their names, sorry.
 17.
Well the coat hanger didn't work - the sticky tape blob fell off inside the bass In a fit of pique I manhandled the bass upside down and shook it - and managed to retrieve the two Pokemon cards. The Spiderman web is still inside (plus sticky tape blob ) but the bass has stopped rattling so thank you all for your suggestions. PS, I love the fact the picture of the lovely Laeticia Casta has been downloaded over 20 times with no comment from BC'ers
You could try trained ants!! Thanks for the picture. Thats gone into my ..... special folder
 18.
I have used marshall bass amps. They sounded alright on their own, but were paper thin in a band mix. I had a cheap Laney combo that sounded better!
Dont know about that, i used to own one of those Marshall 3540 amps. With a 2x15 it was a monsta
 19. Think I prefer the LPB one.
 20. Only take an extra bass on big high profile gigs. For pub gigs, the usual pre gig check up and spare strings. Always have a backup amp tho!!
 21. Peavey. Great solid gear.
 22. Thats that then
