1. I got my 55-02 earlier this year and it's flawless, the 55-01 I had before it was similarly perfect. That said, the dj5 I tried was seriously crappy, the neck felt terrible!
 2. On my phone's crappy speaker it sounds like fuzz bass to me, something that has a wet/dry mix knob would be great, and probably an octaver too wouldn't do any harm
 3.
Joe Meek Floor Q Markbass Compressore
Thanks for the superb answer 51mon, will have a proper look at the Joe meek as it runs on normal power rather than a 12v supply like the markbass so will more easily slot into my setup...
 4. Don't suppose you'd have a use for an e604 snare/tom mic + cash would you?
 5. So, I have an EBS multicomp and kinda like it, it's always on and just cleans everything up a bit, very handy... There are songs that would benefit from a volume boost and a bit more compression in certain parts to aid slapping noises to cut through... Is there a compressor that sounds really good (like the ebs or preferably better) AND has a delectable and controllable second stage? or Would a clean boost do that job loads better, if so, which one? Also, what better comp pedals are out there too? Ta folks
 6. Having listened to your ep on repeat last night, my only criticism is that it's not long enough
 7. Can't believe this is still here!
 8.
Hi Mark. What's stopping you buddy. Its totally like new as i havn't gigged it. I take pride in my gear. Cheers Ian
Cash flow I suspect...I'd love it too but have no spare wonga! I think I'd prefer a hurricane though
 9.
+many to all the above matey! Superb! Is the whole ep/album available as a real cd from anywhere cos I'd love to give it a listen?
mp3 ep ordered

 20.
C'mon! You know he actually wants to do Vigier!
He'll be seeing the world doing these 'factory tours' for our benefit
 21.
P.S I just posted the link on Talkbass in the 'Strings' forum, reckon that's OK? I just thought for the US customers it would be especially interesting; they probably see Rotos as quite exotic! ped
I reckon rotosound will be well pleased with the free advertising, I'd let them know you've done it so they know where the vid is being seen and how many folks it could be reaching, they'll be super chuffed I should think! Looking forward to more of these! Warwick next, then...? TCE Sadowsky? Lakland? EBS? Epifani? Genz Benz? ACG? sfx?
 22. Superb and really interesting, very human insight into string making and a very British company!
 23. The next addition to the bc shop?
 24.
I think I'm going to have a T-shirt printed
Want one!
 25.
I'm using an Ashdown James LoMenzo Hyperdrive at the mo and am liking it a lot. It's very versatile will go from bluesy grit to full on meltdown but it is (like all Ashdown pedals) a bit on the large side. Only around £50 though.
I have one too, got it on a trade out of interest, it's really good! Way more versatile than others I've tried! It has a wet/dry mix knob that really works and the sound is really sweet too
