1.
Click on my soundcloud channel link at the bottom of my signature. I put together 3 quick sound clips of the Überhorn. I have done quite a few recordings with it lately and hopefully those releases will be out soon. I will upload samples of those songs to my soundcloud as soon as I can. The bass sounds awesome in the studio despite not really being designed for that purpose.
Thanks shizznit. Just a hint of stingray but with it's own definite style. Wonder what MOXYBASS' instrument sounds like. I know. Never happy.
2. Why not?

9. Ah, bit of a dilemma. Exactly what I'm looking for and I was only on the phone to Chris May arranging to go over there about a build an hour ago. I'll have to think about this. Hope it stays around long enough.
10. Oh! Never give up bass. If you are going to the osteopath why not take your bass with you. He/she might be able to look at your playing style and advise you from there. How high/low do you have your bass? How do you pick it? Just a couple of things to look at.
11. But it is also worth contributing a little dosh to help the site continue, whether or not you are selling. This lot doesn't come for nothing.
12. If I had cases for them all they would be in them. As it is the best ones are in cases and four hang on the wall.

14. Sounds like you need to have a look at your mids. The neck pickup is collecting a tone that has far fewer mids than the bridge pickup will produce. Try boosting them on the amp first. If that doesn't work try any EQ pedal with mid controls, maybe with a sweepable mid frequency. You could look at the nifty little EWS BMC (bass mid control). Very simple tiny pedal with sweepable mid frequency and boost/cut control.
15. If you're in Glasgow as your location states you could get in contact with Chris McIntyre in Edinburgh. He is excelent. He's done quite a bit of work on some of my basses and it is done to a high degree of prefection. Chris can do custom builds to any shape, just depends if you can afford the price. http://www.mcintyreguitars.com

17. Didn't seem to get my PM either.
18. I left the jazz band i've been involved with for 13 years just before christmas. Much the same reasons as you left the Tuesday Club Lozz. The day I made the decision I simply asked myself one question; "what's stopping me from telling them I'm leaving"? There was nothing that came to mind so the phone calls were made. No regrets on my part for all the reasons that have been stated.
19. On the E line of the staff with the flat sign beside it.
20. I'd love to hear what the Uberhorn sounds like.
21. This might help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxGz6IZ9BFI
22. 40 grit = very course. 1000 grit = very fine You can buy sheets of different grades of grit on ebay. Have a search on youtube as well. there's lots of videos showing you how to do the job.

Cort GB4

I'm another Cort fan. I recently bought an Action V DLX. A supper bass even though it hasn't seen an ounce of quilt maple it looks like.
24. If you want to go new, have a look at ESP LTD or Cort. Really good quality for the price
