1. so, who has gigged this little set up with a band with a loud ish onstage sound? I mean the head and 2of the classic 12 cabs?
2. MY HD 350 into the EO 212 4 ohm cab compared nicely with my old LM2 into a Markbass 8 ohm 4 by 10. To be honest the 350 is LOUD, so you should be fine.
3.
I'm finding these comments amazing. Is our music culture so bad that a good musician moving about or singing at the same time as playing something a titchy bit complex means he must be miming? EVH was miming? Flea is miming? Geddy is miming, Fvck me :s
exactly. It wasn't hugely difficult to play and do a few steps to that I wouldn't think. It was, however, very nice and interesting.
4. what's it actually sound like then? Compare to what, for example? Stingray ish?
5. Got any pics of this mate?
6. my HD 350 is sold pending completion, but I have 2 neo cabs for sale...212 and 115...
7. no one feeling the EBS cabs love then, type bump. You can always make me an offer.....
8. ^^^ quite.
9. bump for ace cabs.
10.
I thought they were great. Blur have always had that messy edge to them. My old band played with them at Food Records birthday bash at Islington Powerhaus. I got Alex James so stoned, he fell off the stage. They are messy and shambolic live and that is a good thing in my book. The rest of the Brits was so poor. It's a tragedy that music in the UK that shifts sales is in the state it is in.
full stop.
11. lol, I'll shut up now. #outnumbered
12.
Graham Coxon is the only one who ever had any discernible talent. A truly awful performance, their outstanding contribution to music is that they make everyone else look good.
Is that not a bit harsh? I'm not their biggest fan, but surely more exciting and original than Sheeran, Rianna etc?
13. I like the energy. Punk-ish. It's gonna polarise us and split us down the middle this one.
14. yes. Its a laugh. I predict a huge debate to follow. Good band, great guitar player in Coxon. Albarn is a bit of a tool, but I can't argue that it would be a good gig to see.
15.
If you could test it with your MB200 I'll owe you a pint
OK, I'll do that. Especially since it will shortly be my only head lol
16. TUNER sold pending. SO we now have 2 near mint EBS Neo cabs for sale, both with fitted covers. Come on folks, lets get these moved on.
17. oh, cool, whereabouts? I am Mapperley
18. want to hear how this sounds.
19. head sold pending. Bump for everything else. Chris
20.
this. very much so. Though it is for precisely these reasons that i am leaving the covers world for a bit. (that and that i don't need the money so much now) I have been playing music I don't like to huge crowds of people I can barely tolerate for 2 years, and i need to go and calm down for a bit and play nice music to 3 blokes and a dog at gigs that are 500 miles round trips and pay close to f*** all instead, so that i remember that playing songs I don't like to people i can barely tolerate is actually quite fun, and pays alright too. i give me about 6 months...
best post.
