1. What amp head is in that vid? Warwick WA something....looked on their site. Shame I cannot afford a warwick bass - my user name is long out of date when i used to use one..
2. Is it not also a characteristic of the preamp's voicing? I read somewhere that the treble is slightly muted in order to balance out slapping. That could of course be tosh, but be sure that it is not a preamp issue.
3. Thanks Gary. yeah, I won't cry if it stays to be honest, just don't really need it.

8. OK, so it does not look as though I will be able to get a credit note, as I bought it at the end of June this year. Taken some pictures, so you can see that it really is as new. £140 or near offer for this box fresh item. Thanks for looking Chris 07966 849153
9. what are the pups and pre in this please?
10. I think I need another poll option - " I play both in various bands to an equal standard"
11. Defo for sale - I have used this on 2 gigs, sat on top of my amp, on a pedal train nano board. http://www.jimdunlop...uct/m80-bass-di So it is essentially "as new", original box and all manuals, packaging etc. You would not be able to tell that is was not straight from a shop. So if anyone is interested please let me know on here. i paid £175 for it I will take £120 plus postage - or will entertain offers Chris
12. I am a bit annoyed with myself as I keep changing my mind on which direction I want to go in - I am currently thinking about cutting down on the gear I use - I play guitar in another band, and acoustic guitar in a duo, and I would love to have a single "power" solution for all these, with a different "front end" as it were. SO I am also exploring pre/power options. Wish I had been able to buy the Avalon U5/Crown set up that was on the for sale board yesterday. So, straight sale, or trade for power or pre amps
13. OK, see first post for updates and pics and price - £430 plus postage please.
14. LOOKS NIIICE...tempted, ned to sell stuff first, so I'm watching this...
15. Well, just to report a top quality service - I contacted him on Saturday just gone, exchanged emails and sorted payment throughout Sunday, and the Pickups arrived today. Top service, well recommended Chris

19. You can plug your ipod (other MP3 players are available...) in. Not sure I would need to though. Just like the look of it!
20. I'm getting the horn for one of these: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Mark_Bass_Big_Bang.html Anyone tried one?
21. Was this my old one? Might be interested in having it back...
22. OK, just ordered a second 112 cab, so sorted for cabs. Head wise, I fancy trading for ABM500, or maybe back to a Markbass head. 2 different beasts, but I am now getting my warmth and OD from a MXR Di pedal, and used to enjoy the Markbass clarity??
