6. Yea the dan does look nice, i'd like to have a twang on it , both my guitarists occasionally use dans so would look good with all 3 of us with one

10. Hi all, I have a CIJ olympic white 60s RI Jazz bass Lefty for trade, its a 1999 model i think, its in excellent condition although the lady i bought it from said it has a small scratch on the back of one of the horns but i can't find it.. this bass plays lovely, and as you prob' know they're on a par with the USA models. i would much prefer to trade this rather than sell it, i would be looking for a Jap Precision or maybe a Warwick??. let me know what you have chaps thanks for looking, Paul Back up for grabs if anyones interested?? Trades as above or £425.00

12. How do you go about taking these exams? Sorry for being a dimwit
13. Ive had to use a program called audacity for some rush tunes, it slows the song down and doesn't alter the pitch, its a free download, or at least it was
14.
I just use whichever bass I'm enjoying at that particular time. All my basses are worth over a grand each. I've always thought that my basses are there to be played, not just looked at! What about the value of your bass amp rig? Mine is about 3-4 thousand worth?
15. Ive got a BB404 lefty up for grabs if anyones interested
16. Wouldn't mind a pic or 2 of the danelectro mate.
17.
I'm a relatively recent convert to Precisions. I found the bridge pickup on Jazz's unusable in a band setting (unless soloing), and exclusively used the front pup. Even when I had a hybrid I found myself forgetting that the bridge pup was even there. P Bass, tone wide open - does everything I ask of it.
18. Totally agree with lukeFRC, a Jazz is a beautiful tool until you pick up a Precision.
19. Not happy with your pick up sound ? Easy, buy a tech 21 sansamp bass driver
20. Started playing at 17, (an old columbus p bass copy), 3 months later our band supported splodgenessabounds and the angelic upstarts at a club called Skunx in London, (1980)
