I had one custom made after buying 2 which weren't any good as the holes were "miles out". All i needed to do was give him the original one and .. Voila.. Perfect fit all round, cost me about 15 quid i think
Funnily enough this is the place that made me want to play bass in the first place - loads of guitar shops, but the basses in the window always drew me and I'd change my walk home so as to walk past and gawp! I remember a sol d wood bass in their that might have been a Warwick (I wouldn't have known at the time)... I still get a thrill thinking about it - does that make me slightly weird?
Yes
Hi all, I have a CIJ olympic white 60s RI Jazz bass Lefty for trade, its a 1999 model i think, its in excellent condition although the lady i bought it from said it has a small scratch on the back of one of the horns but i can't find it.. this bass plays lovely, and as you prob' know they're on a par with the USA models. i would much prefer to trade this rather than sell it, i would be looking for a Jap Precision or maybe a Warwick??. let me know what you have chaps thanks for looking, Paul

not sure about looping but audacity has the function to slow stuff down without changing the pitch you can find it for windows or mac here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Yea audacity does looping, also keeps same pitch when slowing down
-
I'm no expert but try giving this one a go; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTp9SMFQ3Hw[/url I got it just! Sometimes! I figure being able to play Rancid stuff is mainly nailing that fast picking technique along with the major scales. This may bridge the gap a bit...if it doesn't...hey ho, you've still learnt another killer lick I cant get this to play for some reason
Please dont cut a hole in a precision, get a cheapie and do it to that

If you're young and just starting out get some plugs !! Otherwise you'll end up with tinnitus like 30% of bass chatters
