while I could live with an original moogerfooger if I had one cos they are super cool - that looks a little silly. Of the phasers in your picture it's probably the least appealing . (mostly going visually!)

It depends on the church doesn’t it? I think the grindy bethel style bass makes little sense unless you’re in a setting where there’s a big stage and band. Personally it’s my opinion that some of the vibe led, minimal melody songs we have been using in the last few years just arent amazing for communal sing worship unless you go big and loud and very front led - which I’m not sure would work for the majority of U.K. churches and I would question why we would want to as part of our worship (other than the PA team want a big new PA and the guitarists have all gone bought that new big sky mx and want to use it) So short answer - if you can do synth stuff and it adds to the music - go for it!

musical is good for a pedal, I picked up an Anadime chorus and had it at the same time as the Tech21 bass boost chorus - the Tech21 could do more - the Anadime just was more musical - good effects don't sound like effects - just glued on change in tone

Honestly- hide all your 4s for a month and only play the 5, do all your scales, force yourself to do them on different positions on the neck, practice and no safety net and it will suddenly click

Agree with you @paul_5 - also don’t forget washers mean you can drill 1-2mm up to give you some wiggle room.
