All preamps will have a buffer in them at the input stage. Or an input stage that is effectively a buffer. East Uni pre and others will buffer each pickup and then active blend. Others will use a passive blend before the preamp.

Stoked it sounds soo good - kinda wavefolded fuzz with a kinda envelope - really touch sensitive I’ve got different knobs for the ones I’m building up but might need to get smaller ones like these

a @rwillett custom riser for a h9 - it raises the front by more than the back - so I can get at the foot switches but it’s not massively increasing the height of my board - top jacks of pedals will be able to tuck underneath the front of the h9 too. It’s pretty amazing - thanks!

Have you connected the earth of the input and output jacks?

Valeton OC-10 an accidental purchase off eBay - ild not found an octave I had liked previously - just lots of things I didn’t. This thing is brilliant though, @jimbobothy was kind enough to let me try all of his billion octaves - and I still prefered my OC-2 (or his!) I’ve since removed the -2octave to give it a bit more gain. its brilliant. honerable mentions to: Anadime bass chorus, H9 and PastFX PF101

Barbershop really picky about the LDSS on the J201 on Q1 and Q2 so don’t use any assembly service on those parts! (You may know this) - is Q3 on the other side of the board?
