  1. After not playing by Harley Benton JB75MN for ages since in buying my Sire M2 bass I had a noodle on it through my Fender Rumble LT25 practice bass combo and I'd forgotten what a fantastic bass it was, great sounds from the pickup's and the maple neck and fret board are an absolute joy to play. I don't know how Thomann can do such a great bass for so little money, they are currently Β£149, I paid Β£132 for it in 2014 !! 😝 I'll be playing it a lot more as it's sounds terrific through the Fender combo πŸ™‚ John 😎

  2. Well as most of the time I'm buying a CD to replace old vinyl πŸ˜› , with the Clash album, I'd bought the original vinyl, a single new CD of it to replace the vinyl and the special edition for the extra's which of course had been bought by the original owner, I think the Clash have done alright from me from that one album !!. Any albums being released by artists I like I buy the CD new of course to support them John 😎
  3. I still buy CD's and then via iTunes rip then to MP3 and they then go on a memory card on an old mobile phone that I use for playing music via earbuds or speake. I buy CD's new and sometimes second hand, Music Magpie is fantastic for secondhand CD's, I recently bought a special edition of The Clash's "London Calling" (2CD/1DVD) for under a fiver and it was in perfect as new condition, most of their second hand stuff is in good condition. I'd never subscribe to streaming sites like Spotify as I think they rip off artists !! John 😎

  22. In my view some modern is rubbish but some is fantastic, Miley Cyrus has just released a terrific song called "Flowers" which has gone to #1 in the UK and the USA, it's a brilliant pop song IMHO, one of my favourite artists Ian Hunter, who's in his eighties, has just released a song called "Bed Of Roses" featuring Ringo Starr and Mike Campbell which is also just as good but it's classic rock and not what you would call modern music, in the end for me it comes down to how good the song is and these are both excellent and weirdly both have horticulture themed titles LOL John 😎
