7.
Not sure if anyone else knows so here we go. Sold a bass on eBay, winning bid was £250 - ebay final value fee is 10% which I was expecting. I checked my seller account & noticed £2.50 was taken for "Final value fee on postage". The postage was £25 so I can only assume its another 10% for the greedy people running the company & that's me being polite! Here is their words in black & white " A final value fee is charged when an item is sold. The final value fee of £27.48 for this item is based on the shipping cost and sale price of £250.00." Anyone else noticed this ??? Cheers
I noticed this the other day as well after I sold some Western books on Ebay, bloody highwaymen, they should wear masks and carry flintlocks pistols ! Totally wrong in regards to postage IMHO, I'm fine with them charging a fee for selling an item on their site but postage is nothing to do with them, I don't see anyone from Ebay coming to my house to collect and then deliver the stuff I sell. John

 17. You should knot be doing that LOL ;P Seriously, excellent temporary fix, would be handy if you had to change a string at a gig and you cut the new string too short John

 23.
Well, I just had a message for an audition for an originals band, I think this could be something to to get my teeth into :-) so I'm going to try out for them with a back up plan of starting another band or finding another band if it doesn't work out :-)
That sounds like a plan. On the brother thing I totally understand where you are coming from!, I have a twin brother and I think we would end up killing each other if we worked together in any sense, luckily he's not really into music and doesn't want to play an instrument (his favourite song as a kid was Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel!). Good luck and you'll probably get on better with your bro now John
 24. That's good, great idea for a shop to do John
