1. Thanks for the nice comments, lads. The playability of this bass is second to none. And the fretlines, together with the thin neck, make the transition to fretless extremely smooth and easy. Up it goes.
2. For sale this magnificent Fender Jazz Bass Victor Bailey fretless. It is based upon Bailey's Pensa Suhr, the one he used to play before moving to Fender. It is an active bass, lightweight (ca. 4 kg, I reckon) with the sweetest neck I have played in my whole life. Specs can be found in this (and many other) link: http://www.chorder.c...s-fretless-4200. The bass was discontinued by Fender in 2011 to general sorrow, since it is one of the best series that Fender has built in many years. The bass is in perfect condition, except for two details that can be seen in the pictures:

The back of the tuners have some little screws that are missing. It is a merely esthetic issue (if at all), with no influence whatsoever in the tuning or in the playability of the bass.
The case (original) has got a scratch on one side.
Otherwise I dare say that the bass is mint. It is located in Bilbao, North Spain. It comes with flats and the price includes shipping within EU (except islands, colonies, space stations et al.) And the eye candy, of course. For those who dare look...:
3. The price is not so great, anyway. And the answer is indeed rude. That's the way I see it.
4. I just learned about these news. Very sad indeed, he was a great bass player and, as far as I heard, a great chap. My main axe is a Fender Victor Bailey. He will always be a special bass player for me in that sense. RIP
5. Pitty that you are so far away. I wouldn't mind eventually giving it a chance for my Yamaha if I could try the Eminence first. Good luck with the trade. It must be a killer bass.
6. The pleasure was all mine, Mike. I can only say the same about you.
7. Two of them already in my hands (Christian McBride 'Number Two Express' and Brand X 'Unorthodox Behaviour'). And it was a real pleasure to deal with Mike, a very nice pal. The CDs are in very good condition too.
8. Amazing bass, stunningly beautiful. Rainer, do you really want to sell this?
9. I have the same instrument. A very good eub, and at a very good price. The feeling on the SLB200 is pretty much real, compared to an acoustic doble bass. It is not an "upright fretless" at all. GLWTS
10. Nice Bass and nice video. What's the Weight of this beauty?
11. Only bass guitars, I am afraid. High end, but bass guitars
12.
...from a great serious seller
I can only confirm this. First hand. Not that it was necessary in this case, anyway. The bass I bought from him was not an inch short of mint. The packing was rugged. And the transaction was a real pleasure.
13. I also have one. A Consat Straight I am very happy about it. It's a very comfortable bass to play, good tone, lightweight, beautiful... What else. I think the PUs are Delano on mine. They look like it, although they have no name on them.
14.
It's Sadowsky's new singlecut design, I'm not very impressed with it to be honest, they're awfully late to the party too... Don't you think this M Bass Brooklyn Elite is a lot nicer? I'f I was in the market for a SC Jazz, that's certainly where I'd be looking >> Eude
There are many things I like about this bass. The top is also wonderful.
15. A very reliable seller, very active in the Spanish website bajistas. I bought my faithful Marleaux from him
16. Definitely a gorgeous looking bass. And no doubt great to play. I played once an Overwater and was pretty impressed by it. Scale and weight? So that the bump is not totally free...
17. Well, if you are not a pro, once the child is there you will not have so much time to play it anyway. So my experience Only congratulations. Such a special occasion will provide much -sleepless and enslaving - happiness
18. That's a dream of a bass. MY dream of a bass. If only I had the money... Free bump for it. Just hope it goes soon, before my mind blows.
