  1. Right now I am happy about Brexit. Otherwise this would be really too tempting. Great bass
  2. I bought myself a couple of bass books (I can't help it, I am a bookworm). But my real self-present was this beauty: You can't figure out how happy I am with it. Or maybe you can indeed...
  3. I can see why you have your heart and soul on the six strings, it is a really gorgeous beast. Something special. Surely the new owner of the 5 string will be equally happy. It is very nice. GLWTS
  4. I am selling a very special (and quite rare) bass: an Ibanez GWB1005. It is the top of the game version of the Gary Willis fretless basses, made in Japan and currently sold first hand at 3999 euro (that's at least the cheapest price that I could find). These are the specs, as from the website of Musikproduktiv (https://www.musik-produktiv.com/gb/ibanez-gwb1005-ntf.html) : Ibanez GWB1005-NTF Body Shape: Soundgear Body Material: Swamp Ash Technology: Solid Body Colour / Finish: Natural Flat Neck construction: Bolt on neck Scale: Long scale Scale Length: 34" (864 mm) Neck: 3 piece Maple Fretboard: Ebony (*) Fretboard Inlays: Offset Dots and Lines Strings: 5-string Strings thickness ex factory: .045 - .135 Pickup type: Humbucker Bridge Pickup: Bartolini GWB Electronics: 2 Bd EQ Controls: 1x volume, bass/treble Hardware: Black Including: Hardcase & Accessoriy Set Special Features: removable finger support Country of Origin: Japan (*) I think it is ebonol in this one. Superb fretboard, in any case, and great tone. The bass is located in Bilbao (Sp), with original hardcase. A real treasure. The price is 2100 euro (1780 pounds as of today), nearly half the price you have to pay in the store. The weight of the bass is aprox. 3.5 Kg (ca. 7.8 pounds) I need to edit the ad to point out one thing: I had originally mentioned that it was in mint condition. That was indeed my memory. After checking it out I have found some mini scratches (barely three milimetres and barely visible) on top of the headstock and the usual marks on the back of the bass. Nothing spectacular, but the bass is, indeed, not mint after all. I have also been mentioned a "line" on top of the nut. It does have a narrow, thin line in there, I would say it is where the ebonol has been joined to the headstock, but I really can't tell. Or maybe it is a little line in the paint. Good detective work in finding it, in any case. It also has a hair inside of the hardcase and there are some specks of dust on the bass 🙄. In any case, there aren't any flaws in the nut, headstock or anywhere whatsoever in this bass. I own it, I have played it and it is, if not mint (which I can't say it is, of course, since it has some little marks), at the very least in very, very good condition. Best, Gorka
  5. One of the basses in my "wish I could" list. I just don't need it (and should not buy it if I want my girlfriend to let me sleep in my bed), but the gas is strong with this one... Excellent seller and amazing bass. GLWTS, l'ami.
  6. I have the Standard version of this one (with the same type of strap on it, by the way 😉). Amazing instruments, they are worth every penny. You don't quite believe it and stay by the "Fodera is too expensive" mantra... until you play them. GLWTS
  7. I am always open for anybody coming with a reasonable proposal, of course. It is rather unlikely in this case, I am afraid, but never say never. Please offers by private message.
  8. Damn... At least four books that I would gladly take. Curse the brexit.
  9. I am selling this excellent Adamovic Jupiter 5, with the following specs: Body wood: Light weight swamp ash Top wood: Crotched olive Veneer: Wenge Shape: X-ergo back shaping Main neck wood: Maple Secondary wood: Wenge Fingerboard: Zolernia Scale length: 34" Finish: Oil Weight 3,5kg (7.7lbs) Pick-ups: Adamovic Bassbar by Heaussel Electronics: Glockenklang 3 Band Bridge: Hipshot style A-style 3-way adjustable Nut: Zolernia Jack: Barrel jack Tuners: Hipshot Ultralites Scale length: 34" I have it with an E-C configuration that really fits this instrument, but it can be strung with the more traditional B-G without any problem (it was actually the original configuration). The bass has a superficial scratch on the top, that I have tried to show in one of the pics. Other than that the bass is in great condition. It can be tested, if anyone fancies the trip, in Bilbao - Spain. Otherwise I would ship it in a Hiscox STD-EBS hardcase (159€ in Thomann), that you can also see in the pictures. The price is 2950 euro (2500 pounds, as of today) Now 2800 euro in a Sadowsky-style, foam semihard case. Best, Gorka
  10. I am selling, for lack of time to play it (otherwise this would never leave me) my beloved Marleaux Consat Straight 5 strings. A very lightweight bass (3.9 kg.), very easy and nice to play and with a tone to kill for, as usual from this brand. The body is dibetou, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (very compact and hard, by the way). The pickups are, to the best of my knowledte, Haussel, with an ebony housing. 24 frets, zero fret, active-pasive switch and access to the battery without screwdriver (I don't understand why there are not more luthiers doing this). It has some minor marks of use: two dings on top of the headstock (you can see it in one of the pics) and the usual scratches on the backside of the body. Nothing serious, of course. The bass is in Bilbao, Spain and I am selling it for 1600 euro (1350 pounds as of today's exchange rate). You can find some pics on this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/XBkyVjV9rxS2u9617 P.S. I will forever hate the buyer... 😓
  11. Nice playing and very nice axe. It takes the name "bass guitar" to a new dimension. If my current circumstances/priorities were different I would feel very tempted about it. GLWTS
  12. Damn, if only this one was within the EU. I would buy it in a heartbeat. GLWTS
  13. That a super nice Sadowsky, David. I love it. Just as much as everybody else does, I assume. No need to say, but David is a great chap to deal with.
  14. 1217 pounds as of today for UK buyers... plus VAT and import taxes. Let's at least round it down to 1200. 1400 euro for the rest. I am in a real rush to sell (not really...), I'd better hurry up:
  15. As I already posted in another Forum: great bass and great seller. GLWTT, David. I still cannot believe that you want a different bass than this one.
  16. And sold. Thanks to interested and to Basschat, of course.
  17. Thanks, BlueMoon (aka keith). Making deals with you was really easy and a real pleasure. Hope you enjoy the bass. Un saludo, amigo.
  18. Great one, Antonio. Lovely bass. The only Jerzy I had turned out to be a great instrument. I can imagine how good this one must be. GLWTS
