1.
Hey Norm, any idea what the neck thickness is like on this ? I've read they can be a little thick (between thumb and fingers) also does this have the Duncan designed pickups or genuine seymour Duncan's?
Hi Damon, Neck feels more jazz like than precision (to me anyway), it feels more slender in width & depth than my Stingray. 38mm width at the nut, thickness (depth) 22mm before if flares out slightly into the headstock. Pickups have Duncan Designed printed on them, so I assume that means they are not genuine SD's. Punchy sound though. Cheers, Norm
 2. Great thread & top posts. BC is a brilliant place. I have listened to bits &Bobs of stuff from here, Mr venom & the tt's, kit r, helicals etc but hereby promise to MAKE more time to listen because it all has merit, wether I like it or not, it is good to listen to different stuff, genres I dont think I like, for the love of music & to be challenged sometimes. Will post my stuff too if I can get over being intimidated by the excellence of a lot of the stuff I have heard here already! Thats my issues to get over! ;-) Less looking/gassing at the bc market place, more listening to new music, is my pledge! Cheers, Norm
 3. Good point about filling up with bvox. My old band had to adapt from 5 piece (2 guitars + singer) to a 3 piece following personnel moving on. I took over lead vox & guitarist & drummie had to step up & do bvox. I was hard work initially, they didnt want to do it but it was worth it in the end. Also forgot about Supergrass, great lively songs for a trio! We used to do Richard lll & Lose it. The guitarist wasnt a very confident soloist so we kept solos to minimum & played short sharp tunes. No extended widdly widdly passages we'd rather add another couple of songs to the set.
 4.
If the rest of the band are adamant, then make it part of the show. "So-and-so is going to the bar whilst we play the next song, cos we`re all dying of thirst up here, and we can do without them for this one". No need for anyone in the audience to realise it`s an inter-band argumant/dispute.
+1 top way of dealing with it.
 5. My old covers band used to do similar stuff, You dont love me - the kooks Living for the weekend - hard fi Shame about Ray - the hoosiers Tainted love - more an uptempo soul version like the original than soft cell electro stylee Parklife - blur Song2 - blur Going for gold - shed seven Bluetonic - bluetones Mollys Chambers - kings of Leon Green day stuff etc used to go down well, Cheers, Norm

 16.
Thanks matey! good luck on selling your Schecter Model T, it looks sweet in sunburst! I know it's a few years old but are the spec still about the same as the new ones? SD basslines pickups, alder body, etc...real classy!! Oo, the controls on your are nicer than on the new ones! a stacked knob! nice!! http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 http://www.schecterg...ss/Model-T.aspx
Cheers Andy, Yes, its a nice bass but I just dont play it, i go to my stingray all the time so's thats the reason for getting (hopefully) a fretless. Completely different then i'd play it for the contrast & also we have a couple of tracks that are begging for a bit of fretless vibe! Its like buying houses at the moment, stuck in a chain! If only..... then I could buy yours & you could get the G&L etc etc. All the best, Norm.
 17. Usually repelled by Warwicks (knobby top bouts!) & also by spangly finishes, so should absolutely hate this! But I am strangely drawn to it, it is rather wonderful!
