2.
I really really want to try these amps out. I have read lots of great comments about these amps How much does this amp weigh ?
About 25kg I think.
 3. My V6 is still for sale (so bumped). According to the Basschat rules I am not allowed to write "any offer considered".....
 4.
Well, I finally went ahead and did it! Had the laptop on and ready to go in case I needed to refer to this thread, followed my nose, started with the screws and had the things swapped out in no time. didnt even open up the web browser. Then took the toastery beast to practice and lo and behold it didnt blow up/fry! the sound was lovely!! I never had a problem with the gain, but what it did give me is a far fuller, warmer sound. a little less of the clank I get when i go 'clean'. with my big muff on it was just more of the same, full and warm, but with the distortion that i usually play through. guys in the band were most complimentary too. lets hope the next sound guy that DI's it is equally happy and I'll be quids in! cheers all!
Which valves did you go for ?
 5. What have you got to trade ? I am looking for a Epifani 1x10 or 1x12.
 6. bump. Is there really no one interested in this piece of amazing gear ?
 7.
Hiya, think you've got the power ratings wrong on this amp, it's 300watts into 2 or 4ohms. great amp though, soundguys love the di!
Thanks for correcting me if that is true. I have looked everywhere for a manual and haven't found one. A lot of people on the net claims that it's 400 though, but you might be right..... Anyway. The thing is ridiculously loud and sounds great ! And it needs to go now, so get in contact.
 8.
Have you got any pics posted. My V6 now resides in the States! Great tone but did have some probs with mine!
Yes. I just uploaded a bunch of pictures. Look under "For Sale: Amps And Cabs" my post is called "Trace Elliot V6 For Sale (NOW Pictures).
 9. OK. The best Ampegs I've tried has been the: SVT 2 (Pro) and the SVT CL,.... and then maybe the really old early 70's ones.
 10. Hi Mate I might be interested in a swap. I have got a Trace Elliot V6. 400 Watts (fully valved). All working. A couple of tiny marks around the Speaker Output on the back and a few marks on the leather handle. Apart from that it's rock n roll. I'm London based but gig all over the UK, so it should be possible to hook up. PM if you're interested. I have got pictures of the amp, and I can give you more info about myself and the story of the amp etc Cheers, Andreas
