1. I've been umm and ahh-Ing about these for ages... Always been worried that I would lose something from my low A... also, if I used The octaver on my Zoom B3 after it, that would probably reintroduce the frequencies I had removed with the thumpinator!
2. Out of the two te Boss ME-50B would be the easiest to use. Even easier than that (and better IMO) is the Zoom B3! Theyre £150 brand new so not a strain on the wallet either!
3. Les has been taking advice from a good fiend of ours I reckon...
4.
Ridiculous name too, imagine limiting an instrument to one genre...
Exactly! Why not keep it nice and diverse like this
5.
Have you guys been drinking? It's a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass mate, you need to wake up!! ****ing Nora...
Yeah right, I'm sure I would have heard of one of those.
6. Blimey thats an incredible price! if I had any moolah I would have been straight on this...
7. Stageclix is IMO the best in the business, but with the Line 6 G30 being about half the price, and being the only unit in its price range where you dont lose any low frequencies above 20hz, I would go for that if I was on a budget.
8. Zoom B3 has some pretty sweet chorus effects on it
9. Morning Bud, and welcome! I learn a lot, and have a lot of laughs here enjoy your stay!
10.
Wondering if it's a coincedence that Fender strings have the same coloured ball end system as Daddario?
I'm sure D'Addario advertise the coloured ball end system as a unique thing
Oh, man! Now you've done it. I for one will miss you! best, bert
Don't worry, it's only a good thing because I can get more headroom than ever out of my amp
11. I started off on guitar, because I didn't even know basses existed until I was about 14 My uncle has been playing the bass since before I was born, and I always looked up to him... Incidentally he's also the guy who gave me my first guitar.. a black Squier strat that he'd rescued, fixed, and resprayed! So the fact that I started on bass at the age of 16 was inevitable. Awesomely enough, my uncle was so excited at the prospect of me starting bass, that he lent me his limited edition Ibanez Musician bass!
12. Just voted D'Addario after using them last night. The Prosteels are mega bright which suits my aggressive clanky driven tone really well... And they seem to put out less low end than any other strings I've tried... This is actually a good thing for me!
13. Apparently its replaced the (now discontinued) F series amps. It's a similar class D power supply, still advertised as having a very 'quick' attack/response... but apparently has more of a warm/organic sound. Not sure what to make of that as I love my F1 so much! (it looks cooler too ) The headphone out and AUX in are an absolutely genius idea though!)
14. Haven't seen a Jay Turser in ages! Last one I saw was a good few years ago now, a gorgeous purple Les Paul copy guitar with a flamed maple top. Very classy and nice guitar for what it was worth!
15. If you can post photos in your ad it will help your sale a lot! Welcome to the forum, hope you stick around. And good luck with the sale!
16. Nice welcome too
17.
So he's sacking the current bassist by giving him another band to go to?
He IS the bassist
18.
Best wireless I've ever tried
Now that I got the issues with mine sorted (thanks to their extremely helpful and friendly support and technical teams ) I couldn't be happier with mine
19. The cheapest I've ever seen these at is the £399 I paid for mine. This is less than what you'll pay for a Line 6 g50, but with greater durability, better range, smaller transmitter, and no batteries!
20.
http://www.ebay.co.u...7#ht_826wt_1186 Interesting choice of Pick up!
Judging by that picture it looks like the action is so high you could drive a car under it!
21.
Remember this guy's original Gumtree ad? The one excluding "the Markbass generation"? Well, he's back, and this time with no mention of Markbass. http://www.gumtree.com/p/community/bass-player-wanted-for-gigging-rythm-blues-rock-band/108596775 How totally unremarkable. Except that, on the same day, he also posted this: http://www.gumtree.com/p/community/bass-player-seeks-covers-band/108593026 Hmmmmmm.
Can't be too promising if even he won't do it
22. I haven't got enough pedals
23.
Nah I dazzled with my playing........ (By how I could look at my feet and play at the same time )
Bloody hell that's impressive! More so than my fretboard gazing anyway
24.
that looks like my first bass. Stood on the cable, bust the scrachplate and made a new bit out of a bit of metal cut from a hyundai accent when it got a sunroof
I bet you wished you could have dazzled the crowd with some incredibly dull copper
25. The logo looks kind of cool, but what a dog!
