  2. Currently my experience on Fender quality is above the average (probably I've been lucky) I own 4 CS (2 jazz , 1 P59 and 1 Masterbuilt P51) The only one I sold was a 64 Jazz , which was nice sounding , but required a shim in neckpocket. I was not able to have the setup I want. The jazz I kept is nicely assembled , very resonant , but if I have to find a pain point she has a little "wolf tone" on E string. Estetically marvellous. The P59 is a marvellous bass : Light resonant and perfect for setup. Beat many vintage basses played so far for tone and playability. The P51 is , in my opinion , one of the best instrument ever played. I purchase it in spain for a steal , it is a mark kendrick masterbulilt. it has the real "magic" that you feel when you play something uncommon. 51 Neck shape is not my preferred one , but the neck of that bass is something unreal. What really is above any other fender in CS basses is the finish. Every bass I saw was perfect.

  5. Top class drive. Pure drive give full bottom responce and additional controls give to your sound versatility and personality. Good spent money.
  6. What can I say... I own a MF-103 , MF-105B , MF-101. I sold them for live usage complexity but I always dream about that sound. The MF-103 is simply the best sounding phaser ever tried. Coupled with an analog delay bring me immediatly to the outer space In my opinion these will quickly become collectors items. By the way , the new minifooger line are great too. I have the drive and the chorus now in my pedalboard. Drive provide a great saturation suound , with the great plus of LPF and resonance tune which can suit to any need , also in term of sound experiments. Chorus is deep , clear and full . there are very few alternatives for bass at that level.
  7. Once I've bought an Orange AD200B MKII I never felt to need anything else... Maybe just an Ampeg B15-R for Livingroom play
  8. never tried , but I can tell that Ampeg SVT412HE is probably the best cab ever used with an SVT-VR and Orange AD200B. I love the responce of Ampeg 12" Woofer : avery good compromise between deepness of 15 and responce of 10.
  9. I own several bass, Rick "rocks" but not suit to me. It's a personal preference I just wanna say that , for me, I feel P and Rick are on the same application scenario and , always for me , I go with P every time. My two cents .
  10. Own 3 P bass now , 2 split coils and 1 51 style. I really do not find a reason now to play something different. It's like hearing the ancestrall recall of bass sound
  11. I own a rick 4003 for 3 years , I was enchanted by its look. Great fashion bass (it was jet black), always present in the mix , but I feel poor of pure low end . It also suits better for aggressive classic sounds (where bass was waaay less pumped). My conclusion is that 4003 should be played with the pick and perform at best when used with a full valve amplifier. Another thing I notice is that finish is more delicate than fender style finishes. At the end I back to the P.
