1. Thanks for the interest guys. I have a lot going on at home at the moment. So I don't have the time to arrange couriers or meet ups at the moment. I have withdrawn this for now until further notice. Thank you.
2. This is more of a feeler. Never thought I would do this but having acquired an MTD Norm Stockton recently, this renders the old girl redundant. I am not 100% sure I want her moved so I'm just testing the waters of what is available for trade out there at the moment. Well used but loved Lakland 55-94 deluxe in teal burst. Dated 2002. This has got the barts pickups and preamp. I'm looking for a trade at the moment. I'm not exactly sure what I'm after. But aesthetic wise I'm looking for either a blue finish or natural finish bass with a maple board. If you have anything of the same value hit me up. Or probably a Warwick Streamer Stage 2. Preferably 5 string. The worst that could happen is I would say no. More photos to follow in the morning. 3. My word. Something like that I want to hang on my wall as an art piece! It looks incredible!
4. Not in any way related to the seller. I had my eyes on this on ebay (bass is from US) since it was put up. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Music-Man-Ball-Family-Reserve-BFR-Sterling-5-HH-Bass-Sequoia-Gold-Stingray-/152614105974?hash=item2388827376:g:JkoAAOSw1BlZXm~2 It might save you a couple of quid and a waiting time.
5. Been to BD a couple of times. Last time was last Saturday. Made my probably biggest purchase on music related things. Arrived around 15:00. They were quite busy so I spent around 10 minutes waiting. Not complaining as I get to stare at some gorgeous instruments. And I played the bass I'm after whilst I was waiting. When Mark was done with what he was doing, he entertained me. Straight to the point. Deal done in 5 minutes. After that he even gave me a lift to the train station! What a gent! Thanks Mark! You are a legend.
6. Thanks guys! Took her out for recording today. Sounds killer!
7. I bought my used Lakland online from Germany. Maybe I was lucky enough to get a very fine specimen.
8. I couldn't stop thinking about the Norm Stockton on Bassdirect ever since they brought it back from NAMM. Got a chance to play it two weeks ago. It blew me away. The playability of the bass is outrageous. And the tones you can get from it is just right up my alley. I play Lakland 55-94 as my main. And I suspect somebody is taking over. 9.
What a weird poll. Surely 'Wedding/Corporate' is a type of gig, not a type of music?.
Think this is more like what kind of band are you in at the moment rather than what type of music are you playing. Wedding/Corporate could well play some catchy rock music perhaps to some dance and soul.
10. Good luck! I find that learning the songs wasn't so bad for me. But tying them up with what the song is called is a struggle! So I have to learn them in the order of how the set list will be. I'm just weird.
11. Dave bought my Warwick Streamer Jazzman. Awesome chap. Picked it up from my work. Easy deal. Enjoy the bass Dave.
12. BUMP If this doesn't move by Thursday I'll be withdrawing this. So now is your chance!
13. That looks so nice and goes well together with your 55-01!
14. I have a couple of tones that I want to achieve hence why I keep moving basses around. Trying to find a single bass that covers most of the tones that I have in my mind. At the moment I have a bass that comes close to that and I'm not too bothered if I can't quite get the exact sound as long as I'm close enough.
15.
Interested in trades?
No trades thank you.
16. As title says. This is a truly unique Warwick. I love it to bits but unfortunately I need to let it go as I don't use it anymore. It's really lightweight well under 4kgs. Comes with flight case and manual and certificate. Bass is located at Droitwich, Worcester. You are welcome to come and try. Shipping is for £30 for UK only due to flightcase weight. No paypal please if possible.
