1. I have a similar thread http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=115626 But still looking for a shop that have this to try though. No luck yet.
2.
Shhh. if u dont bump it might still be here when i have money
I'm on this aswell as my current one is dying on me.
3. Poor little thing. What did it do to deserve such "customization"?
4.
And if you haven't seen that one before....
me wants his/her bass. X3 but certainly not him/her
5. I guess I really need to try it out first. Tone wise, are they quite similar?
6. I want my 70's jazz bass to have a humbucker instead of a single coil on the bridge position.
7. I'm considering the Ashdown in-terms of price, but I only tried the Ampeg, which I really am inlove with. The problem is I can't seem to find a store with an Ashdown to try. So any inputs about the two are gladly appreciated.
8. Nice Bacchus! too bad it isn't for you.
9. Here's something different(might not be everyone's cup of tea). This is a song from my country. I managed to find a clip on YouTube with an english subs for it.
10. I just want to share this inspirational playing of his.
11. You said you run your bass through your computer usually? Don't you have atleast an EQ on whatever software you are using? Just go have a play with it. There are too many factors to consider.
12.
I have a TRB6 in translucent black for sale on this site if anyone is interested. Lovely basses and they have always done me proud. Great tone and great feel. Nice thread guys http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=112011
Awww, what a pretty bass you have there. I might ask my cousin if he's still looking for one. I'll send you a message if ever.
13. here's one out of two of my basses
14. I don't mind colours except for one.... pink. It is just too striking for me.
15.
Its not tosh, its different opinions and preferences and its not really fair to dismiss these opinions because they differ from yours. I have both a CVP and CVJ. Both necks are almost identical other than the nut width is about 4mm narrower on the Jazz. I cant feel comfortable playing the P neck but have no problems with the Jazz.
+1 to this. For me I choose where I am more comfortable first before looking for the specific tone I like among them. It's just a personal preference on how you select your instrument, so stop fighting people.
16. I like both equally but I have to choose jazz over pbass because of neck profile given that I have small hands. But somehow I am comfortable with StingRay's neck which is as the say have a similar neck to pbass.

18. World of GAS indeed. So many pretty basses here. <3
19. Thanks. I'm fron West Midlands JR.
20. Been playing bass for almost 7 years now and self-taught. As for basses, I currently have two; Fender Jazz Bass 70's and MM Stingray in Pacific Blue burst. I'm still GAS-ing for a Bacchus or Atelier Z though. Genres I play are mostly funk rock, jazz and alternative rock. That's about it. Nice meeting you all!
