1. Sold some George L's plugs to Martyn and the whole transaction was as hassle free as can be. Great guy to deal with. Thanks, Martyn!
2. I used a TB 500 with one or two OBC 115 cabinets and the tone was immense. Great for rock, blues, country, soul, funk... When I need it to be a little snappier for a song I used a VT Bass in front of it, like a normal pedal, and it sounded great.
3. Hey guys, I have 16 George L's angled plugs that I don't use anymore. They're in perfect condition and are great to save space and customise your pedal board as many times as you like. All you need to do is to buy a metre or so of George L's cable, cut to the desired length, stick it in the plug, screw the top bit and you're done. I'm asking for £43 posted in the UK. I'm not willing to sell them separately, unless more than one person make me offers that would mean I can sell them all. Let's see how it goes. Cheers, Eddie
4. Aren't the mibass 1x10 cabs 4ohms? If so, your amp is probably shutting down because you're driving a 2 ohms load like that.
5. Ian bought a set of strings of me and he's a great guy to deal with. Great communication and fast payment. Thanks Ian!
6. Stuart bought some pickups from me and the the whole deal was as easy and painless as possible from the word go. Quick communication and payment. Great guy to deal with. Thanks Stuart!
7. I love my DB 212. Sounds great in any stage I tried it so far, but it's just too bulky for those tight corners Molan mentioned above. An SL 212 would be killer!
8.
I wish Aguilar would bring out an SL212, I think that could be a killer cab!
Amen!
9. Sold some strings to Gerry and he was a great guy to deal with. Thanks, Gerry!
10. Just saw it too. Fender really did a great job with these new Starcaster and Coronado basses. I'm more and more in love with my Coronado everyday. Anyone knows what pedal(s) he uses?
11.
so would the 32 fit a standard p bass?
A standard P-Bass would have a 34" scale, so the 32" would be too short. The 32" set would fit all 32" scale basses or a 30" bass with the kind of tailpiece that basses like some of the Hofners or my Fender Coronado has. Sorry... I don't know how to call it. 12. For sale here the electrics that came with my American Special P-Bass. As new (only home use) and ready to rock! The pickups are what Fender calls the Vintage-Style Alnico Split Single-Coil Precision Bass and are the same pickups that also came with the American Standard basses 'till recently. Classic P-Bass tone. The Greasebucket tone control system cuts off highs without adding bass. It sounds less muddy to my ears when rolled off than a regular tone control. It's basically quality CTS 250k audio pots with a special capacitor in the circuit. Price for the lot is £50 posted in the UK. Thanks! 13. £25! £50 was the price for the two sets I had for sale here before. One of them is now gone and I only have the 32' set left. For sale a used set of Thomastik-Infeld strings. These are the famous Thomastik Jazz flats as used by Pino Paladino and others. The reason I'm selling them is that I decided I prefer the tension of the D'Addario Chromes, even though I think I prefer the sound of the Thomastiks. The strings have been gigged twice and were on my Coronado for two weeks. The Coronado is 30" scale bass but because of the kind of tailpiece it has I had to buy the 32" scale set. All the strings are uncut apart from the E, which I cut just enough so the string were nicely wrapped around the tuning machine. The 32" set is the one on the right hand side in the pics. The 34" one on the left has been sold. Full info about Thomastik Jazz Flats here: http://www.thomastik...%20flat%20wound Thanks! 14. Sold my beloved Barefaced Super 12 to Andrew and I'm confident it went to a good guy. Quick and accurate communication, payment in cash on delivery, no haggling, transaction as easy as can be. Thanks Andrew! Eddie
15. Bought a pedal from Emmett a while ago and the transaction went as smooth as possible. Great communications, fast shipping and the pedal arrived well packed and in great condition. Cheers mate!
16.
Got to be flats my friend.
I've been playing with my Status and it sounds ace already, but my lovely Thomastik arrive tomorrow and I have feeling they will transform the Coronado into a proper beast! Looking forward to it.
17.
I think when the singist introduced you, you should've done a massive heavy metal bass solo for about a minute and a half. Apart from that, it's great!
Haha! We joked during the rehearsals that I should do a slap solo
18. Not the best video, but the sound is quite alright. This was at Shepherds Bush Empire a couple of weeks ago and the sound is coming straight out of the Tone Hammer's DI post eq, which was flat with gain at noon and a bit of drive. I'm loving this bass! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uCLBLWdcMc
