2.
I've got a MIM 60th. Anniversary Precision in nearly new condition cheaper than this if you're interested.
Thanks Jazzneck, but it's the MIA version I'm after.
3. He says "i am not a dealer this is my new baby but my missis is making me sell it to take her on holiday , women eh you gotta love em" Once she saw it, I'm not surprised! And I see he's including the polishing cloth, what on earth would that be used for?

5. The annoying thing for me is, I am actually searching for a 60th Anniversary Precision which is how I came across it, and I would have gone for it had it not been trashed!!!
6. What a mess! Professionally reliced? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27fe499173
7. Price drop! Now £895
8. Free Bird & Sweet Home Alabama!!! I love Skynyrd, and there are loads of other great Skynyrd songs, so why do so many bands insist on playing these two?
9. It's now on eBay as well.
10. Still here, looks like I will have to put it on eBay soon.
11. This lovely bass is still available for £450. I will probably put on eBay if it doesn't go soon.
12. I've had at least six Mighty Mite necks and every single one of them has been excellent. I put Mighty Mite Jazz necks on all my precisions, and quite honestly, the finish is as good as the original Fender USA necks I replace. Five were from Bluebass320 on eBay, and one was imported from the States, all great quality and fitted the neck pockets perfectly.
13.
Hi Great looking bass. Can you tell me what it weighs?
8lb 9oz weighed with digital scales.
14. I have four precisions, two with maple boards, two with rosewood boards. I know nothing about all the scientific facts etc.. but the maple boards are definitely brighter to my ears, and I have even swapped the necks and tried both necks on the same body and electrics/settings etc.. I'm sure people will tell me I'm wrong though!

18. Thanks for the suggestions folks, the rubber mesh sheet seems like a great idea, as I don't want to make any permanent mods to the cab or head. I will head off to Wilko's this week.
19.
What cab are you using? IME, if they are made correctly, cabs shouldn't be vibrating excessively. If they are that's your tone and volume dissipating. I put a piece of foam under all of my amps.
Two Genz Benz Shuttle 2x10 cabs. I'm thinking of putting a small cable tie loosely around the handle, and then threading velcro through it so that it goes around the amp side to side, hopefully that might do the trick.
