1. No collection from the store? I,m not surprised!. I doubt they want the punters to see what sh*t they are selling!
2.
Better make that a de-caff
LOL!
3. The guitarists take their amps but the drummer just takes his cymbals and snare and uses the provided kit (Which isnt too bad) Because I usually come straight from work I just usually bring my bass and effects pedal and use the provided Behringer amp.
4. I have never played a Ric, although my favourite bassists are Paul McCartney and Bruce foxton. I just dont like the look of them (although I love the guitars esp the 12 string versions they are gorgeous!) Maybe if I played one I mihjt enjoy it, but Hey Ho!
5. Nigel Harrison from Blondie, Mike Mills REM, Klaus Voorman, (John Lennon, George Harrison etc). All underrated in my book.
6. +1 for the AKG D5. Its well made and has a nice deep sound to it.
7. "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!"
8. I dont think you can. You just stop visiting or logging in.
9. Reasonably competent I suppose, but lazy. I rarely venture outside my comfort zone. I had to learn 'Get The Funk Out' recently and tied my fingers up in knots and ended up going for a lie down.
10. I bought a Mark Bass combo from Gak the other day and it arrived within 24 hours and they even through in a free 10ft guitar cable.
11. I need the space, so now dropped to £220.
12. Oh yes, the super cool Jet Harris with the first Fender Bass in the UK I believe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzgbcyfJgfQ
13. The fast bit sounds a bit like the bassline from The Beatles And Your Bird Can Sing. I guess its probably just C to G via E F AND F sharp
14. Ah! Gain and blue light, I think I have just solved it!......
15. Just got one of these this morning and had a fiddle with it. It does seem a bit distorted at low levels, but it hasnt come with a user guide and a google search doesnt come up with much. Anyone got any tips on how to a get a great sound out of this?
16.
Did you get the vibe of what happened 50 years ago? I would like to go, but no idea if you get the sense of what happened. I don`t believe you need to be around at the time to get the feeling of the place, but if all the history has gone, it will be hard to get any sense of what happened. It could be true, as i wasn`t born in the late 1800`s. I went to Tombstone a few years ago, and it was hard to feel any vibe there. I couldn`t really imagine Wyatt Earp strolling around the place. Seemed like a theme place more than anything
I had an amazing sense of the vibe of the place when I visited the Beatles former recording studios, Abbey Road last year. As soon as I walked up the steps into the reception I got the powerful vibe of its long musical history. Having said that, The studio that they used - (No. 2 studio) was a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. I had always envisioned an enormous room in the pictures I had seen of it.
17. Unfortunately, he run out of Beatles songs to rehash. Look Back In Anger being an amalgam of Norweigian Wood and Imagine.
18.
Bass Gallery in Camden is the bass place to visit in London.
I believe that irritable Alex has left to do the knowledge. It might be safe to go back in there again!

20. Im not joking. Those albums were realesed in the UK as 'With the Beatles' and 'Hard days Night'. It seems they were re packaged for the USA market
21.
Yeah, and for me and others a lot of it was timing. I think I was 9 or 10 years old when my Dad purchased "Meet The Beatles" & "Something New" for me. Which was amazing because he was WW II vet and a big *swing band guy.
I have never heard of those albums? They are not on this list either. Are they bootlegs? http://www.dmbeatles.com/discography.php?category=1
22.
What are you unsure about exactly? and what is the point in going to Liverpool - It's 2015! Will they still get the Beatles in Liverpool?
Calm down, calm down!!!
