If you already have wax then some earplugs can push it right down the ear canal. I should know, I went the the F1 race in Melbourne a couple of years back and did the same thing. I spent the next two weeks as deaf as a post and needed to go to a walk in clinic in Canberra to get them irrigated. (They dont syringe them anymore) The nurse though I had a perforated eardrum and told me I couldnt fly home. Luckily it was all wax, a big lump the size of a 5p coin fell out at one point.

The guy who played 'Needles' in the Back To The Future movies is actually quite a good bass player.

I,m not too bad with laid back reggae but I struggle with Ska. I had to learn Too Much Too Young and Nite Klub and couldnt nail those quick runs smoothly. Also slap. I am with Bilbo on that, I have no interest with playing that type of music, so dont bother.

I have always played a 4 string P Bass, but I saw a Sterling SUB 5 string in the window at Wunjos for a really good price, and er.. I am fiddling with it and am finding myself getting lost and hitting the low B string thinking its the E. Anyone got any tips for folks moving from 4 to 5??
