I'm with you on that.
Although Mrs. Pook is very averse to me selling any....I think she would feel need to sell some of her many many bikes if I pruned my basses
Wow, that looks fantastic. Really nice finish !
Beats my rather plain enclosure. It's blue and white like clouds cos it's a clean preamp...sort of made sense to me
Look forward to hearing what you think of the preamp when it's all done..
I'd completely disagree with you.
The sound quality is amazing! You can really hear, with quite astounding clarity, that everybody singing has a large beard.
Try headphones, maybe.
Seeing as it was made by a machine and not a fellow musician, I feel I can dispense with tact and the appreciation due for another's artistic endeavours.
It sounds like a mobile phone advert
I wonder if Ashdown are recommending linear power suplies as some switching ones can be noisy. Not something I've found with the HB supplies BTW.
In your situation, I'd try your Mooer unit - assuming it'll provide the 100mA - and see how it goes.
The Boss 230 is worth a try if the Mooer doesn't work out.

How about one of the Harley Benton ISO models? I'm very pleased with my two - I have an ISO-5 and ISO-2. A few more power outs than you need at the moment, but good to have the extra slots.

I have vague recollection of seeing some pictures of folky/prog bands using something similar for those tricky banjo/mandolin/dulcimer/sackbutt interludes.
Deffo a touch of theatre for the band above, but quite a boon if you struggle with the weight of your instrument.
Not sure I could stand still enough!
